40/100wannabe titilation anime with nothing to say and not wanting to commit to the genre it wants to beContinue on AniListmy first ever review so please be forgiving :)
My Sister My Writer is a standard harem anime about a normal boy whose little sister has written a light novel to profess her love to her big brother, but for reasons unknown she is unwilling to take credit and talks the protagonist into doing so, (i say unknown as everyone in the show seems to blindly accept that little sisters fall in love with big brothers as the norm). The light novel turns out to be a huge hit and the harem all fall for the protagonist in one way or another due to him being such an excellent writer
normally i would drop such crap quite quickly but on occasion i find the titillation anime genre quite funny, for example i really enjoyed High School DXD (although i wish they could have toned it down in the more serious parts) and this anime seemed like it was edging towards something more than pure fan service in earlier episodes, throwing subtle hints that it wanted to say something about the little sister genre, but sadly never seemed to manage more than a few nods of commentary such as the title of the light novel or a comment in an earlier episode about writing the second chapter "you don't need to add a new girl to push the story along" (while blatantly doing the opposite in the anime)
the other issue with the anime seemed to be the opposite of high school DXD, not enough titillation, we would sometimes go 2 or 3 episodes with barely any "panty shots" or "jiggling boobs" making it again feel like it didnt know if it wanted to be a fan service or a parody/commentary on the genre itself. while not understanding or willing to commit to either making the anime a total boring mess
overall i wouldn't recommend this to anyone for any reason, Whether you like soft core anime, funny anime or anime that likes to push boundaries The only reason i completed this is because its the Christmas holidays and i couldn't be bothered looking for anything else to watch
if i was to recommend a titillation anime it would be How Not to Summon a Demon Lord, quite funny, lots of titillation while not being totally obscene

71/100my analysis of Ore ga Suki nano wa Imouto dakedo Imouto ja Nai, it's not so bad but it's not goodContinue on AniListI just watched Ore ga Suki nano wa Imouto dakedo Imouto ja Nai(My sister, My Writer), considered the worst anime of 2018,
Animation: 5/10
the anime in fact has a horrible animation in theimg220 first Ep's and several, but it improved afterwards but it was nothing so great
characters:
the weak secondary characters all without any development is bizarre the amount of times that the secondary characters seem out of nowhere, the only character that works is the heroine Suzuka, she loves her brother and fuck if there is no explanation of why she loves him with Sora de Yosuga no Sora who has a well-developed story to explain why she loves her brother, Suzuka just loves him and wants everyone to approve of her love for him then she releases a light novel but she doesn't want her identity is revealed there passes the credits of the light novel to her brother who also writes light novel only that he is a failure in that
, and the protagonist who is her brother(Yuu) is a failure like the other 90% of anime protagonists, in the end of the anime he had a legal development of his feelings, but I found it incredibly bizarre that he didn't realize that his sister was doing his "training" to get into the character as an excuse for her stay closer to himthis is incredibly well and the two are stuck in the last Ep's,
Missed a kiss at the endPlot: 7.2 / 10
very interesting the plot of the anime, I thought it was well developed but the animation kills the story of the anime taking the focus of the story to the bizarre animation
the enrendo problem he is super cliches in his events some event starts and you already know how it will end because you’ve seen something similar in other works because it’s already something cliche, the anime rarely surprised me with enrendo in the case it was in the dispute of which people made the best story (the part where Suzuka gets sick and cannot write the script and leaves it for Yuu to do the script) and in the end
Super cliche the ending but until I found it fun it is far superior to the plot of Ore no Imouto ga Konna ni Kawaii Wake ga Nai which has a very similar theme, the anime also reminds me of Kiss X Sis and Yosuga No Sorasoundtrack: 7/10
not a big deal but not too bad, i really liked the opening of the anime, the waxing is reasonably good but i'm not a big fan of waxing i'm not the best person to give an opinion on closures usually i leave before i finish seeing them
final note: 7/10 (I really liked the heroine she saved this anime, the anime is not that bad, in fact I only discovered that the audience hated the anime after I was in ep 4, the animation is really bad but it stops watch good)

16/100My Sister My Writer is'nt just really bad, it's a natural disaster that exposes everything wrong with current day animeContinue on AniListThe imouto genre is a genre nobody want to be seen with in the same room. Oreimo, Eromanga Sensei, A Sister's all you need, all of these have become infamous for being morally disgusting. So why do these type of anime keep popping up? Just like why any other genre exists: There is audience for it. That type audience may consist of people living home alone and having a restraining order from their local elementary school and sister, but hey there is an audience. And to be completely honest some of these anime are enjoyable if you look past the disgusting stuff.
Introducing Ore Ga Suki (aka My Sister My Writer). This is also part of the fabled Imouto genre and as expected it sucks. The thing that makes it different from other Imouto anime is that even if you took out the Imouto part it still would suck. Yes, Ore Ga Suki is so bad that even people who like the genre would hate it.
So let's dive straight into it. First stop, the plot. The plot is really similar to Eromanga Sensei and is somehow worse. Suzuka and Yu are brother and sister but their relationship is a bit rocky. That changes however when Suzukas novel wins a competition. Yu was already a novel writer but found little succes. Suzuka is not a writer and send in her novel (which is her first) just for fun. Suzuka completely panicks because she actually has a live and if this would come out her social life would be ruined. You know why it would ruin her life? Because it is an imouto novel that was made in order to express her love to her brother. Suzuka convinces Yu to act as he made and now she has to try even harder to hide her lover from her brother.
That's the general premise. The siblings do come across a ton of colorful characters, but it merely acts as filler and fanservice. I can make a whole list of complaints and nitpicks, but I will keep it short: It is disgusting and boring.
Now the music. It is… passable? While I am slightly annoyed by the opening, it is because the fact that it is stuck to this anime and not because of the song itself. The ending and OST I have no comment, except the funky ass song that I heard episode 8 which is the best part of this series.
Oooooooh boy. The animation. I didn't know it was possible to fuck up this bad. Faces morph between frames, body parts look jank, derpy faces is a common occurance and they don't seem to know what way is up seeing the amount of slideshow animation they show ON ITS SIDE WHY DO THEY DO THAT. The animation is just so bad I just kept going back to the anime to see how they fuck it up this time.
The characters. They are….. okay actually. Incredibly cliché and generic, but they could have been way worse. Suzuka is a Tsundere who loves her brother way, way too much. Yu is the ''straight man'' or at least the anime portrays him like that. In actually he is embarrassed all the time and the rest just ignores that. There are a ton of side characters, like Mai (the rival and biggest fan… somehow), Sakura (the clueless voice actor) and Ahegao Double Peace-sensei (her personality is just as perverted as her name). Yeah not anything insulting here. The characters could be better, but I expected much worse from them.
So when it comes to my personal enjoyment, I had a bad experience watching this anime. The writing is horrendous and only made me genuinely chuckle (not ironically) a few times. The rest of the time I was disgusted or utterly frustrated about how this all could have been avoided if they didn’t jumped to conclusions. The only reason I pulled myself through this shit is because of the animation which was so bad it was hilarious.
Now, the last thing I want to talk about before the conclusion is something that pissed me off that isn’t the anime fault, it is the producers fault. In the end of episode 6 there was a hidden cry for help in the ED, which translated to “We are in serious trouble”. It was presumably from one of the animators, but it wasn’t clear on why they send that message. Then eleven days later one of the animators spoke out on twitter. He said that the animators weren’t paid for months and implied that they started making this anime this year when the bear minimum is at least one year. He also said that he wanted to ask the director “Why are we making this?”. When I heard this news, I was disgusted. People shouldn’t be treated like this. That’s why I will lower my score of this anime with one full point. I know that it brings down the anime from a 3 to 2, but I still think it is important consider this controversy when I judge this anime.
Ore Ga Suki is not just a trainwreck, it is natural disaster. The best bits of this anime are passable at best, but the worst bits are sickening. Horrendous animation, morally disgusting themes, awful writing and the controversy. All of these things makes this anime the worst anime of 2018. Yes, worse than Tokyo Ghoul Re, Citrus or even Conception. If you want to watch this for unirronical enjoyment, then consider what has happened in your life that made you choose to do this and then find a therapist.
Fuck this anime.
