A world where everything is going perfectly fine… A highschooler boy who wants to be a movie producer… An AV actress who is suffering from relationship problems and family criticism…

Wait, that sounds too normal…!

A world where everything is controlled by E.T.E, a website which can make anything possible, mostly catastrophic wishes tho… A highschooler boy who is no longer a virgin… An AV actress trying to save her newfound love along with the world.

Now that's what I'm talking about… But wait, there's more!!!

Big monstrous creatures trying to destroy the world, Big robots trying to kill people and then a big naked lady trying to fight them (When I say big… I mean really BIG.. Like twenty storey big)… and then there is this woman who is thinking about going shopping before the store closes

Gigant is a manga which hits differently than most of the other Sci-Fi manga… It's where love goes side by side with Genocide… An AV actress goes side by side with saviors from the future…
Where people get angry on why their fellow human beings were NOT killed and other people trying to estimate the measurements and cup size of a giant lady as they are butchered in crossfire.

It is a manga with amazing pacing… I never felt like nothing was happening, it was bombshell after bombshell and almost everything was pointing toward how utter chaos is coming in the near future… every chapter was thrilling just like in classic Oku, Hiroya fashion. When I started reading it I binged through five volumes before I realized it.
Story and pacing is solid 9/10

Now moving toward Art and Style… It is amazing… that super detailed background and those amazing robots with every part detailed and visible… good looking characters, what more do you need (although sometimes i do feel like that every other girl looks same… maybe he just found the perfect woman physique ┐(￣ヘ￣)┌ ).
Art and Style is 8/10

Characters on the other hand are quite mild if I say so myself… none of them are very charming except the two main ones… you can't look back and say that “that guy was so cool I wanted to see more of him.” Characters are 6.7/10

Now you might ask “Well then why is the rating so bad? Huh…”
My speculation is that when people read the synopses and see the lines like “AV actress who can change body size”, “her biggest fan”, “they live in the neighborhood”... monkey neurons react and expect only and only sex out of the manga… and when they get epic Sci-Fi bizarre manga… they get disappointed and start smashing that 5/10 button… as I said in the very first line… It is not an ecchi manga, It is more like the end of the human race Sci-fi manga with an amazing love story.

In conclusion, go in without expecting it's a ecchi manga… you will be surprised how good it is.____
