  Un final plictisitor, dar necesar

  De la inceputul sezonului trei am crezut sincer ca actiunea o sa fie concentrata pe Sebas si actiunile lui, dar dupa..a disparut de tot Si au ramas doar Climb si Brain.
  Oricum..n-am avut mult de asteptat pentru ca actiunea a trecut la satul Carne (de porcule) parca asa ii zicea. Acolo cateva episoade informatoare si concentrate pe goblinii mici si veseli m-au tinut rece. Adica nu m-au fascinat, dar nici nu m-au dezamagit total.
  Spre final am avut un Hype din ala imens :)) Credeam ca o sa fie lupta secolului, cel putin credeam ca o sa il vad pe imparatul ala Nix sau cum ii zicea in actiune pentru ca pare destul de badass (vorbesc dupa de personaje), darnu am vazut nici macar o abilitate din partea lui din pacate. Razboiul ala nu il pot numi razboi. Adica nici nu a fost o lupta adevarata acolo doar Ainz care a distrus tot si atat. Nici macar un soldat nu a miscat un pai pe cand ceilalti s-au chinuit destul de mult
  Am uitat complet de lupta printului cu satul care a fost o surpriza totala pentru mine si mi-a ridicat moralul la maxim! In primul rand spiritul goblinilor si faptele lor pot fi exemple pentru multe persoane. Puterile lui Enri au deslusit adevarata putere a goblinilor intr-o armata uimitoare. Un mag strateg, Diferiti razboinici, calareti, doua feluri de magi, asasini si asa mai departe adica..really dude..cine se astepta sa vada asa ceva din partea goblinilor?:)))
  Revenind la personaje...de ce trebuie sa mai astept un sezon (Poate chiar mai mult) Pana dezvalui adevarata putere a personajeloooor?? Nu imi place sa astept. Abia astept sa vad ce puteri au Albedo si Demiurgul la fel si cu Nix regele ala sau ce e el. Era sa uit de Sebas..Unde e adevarata putere a lui?? :(( Revenind la personaje Demiurgul pare un personaj ascuns in umbra..adica gandeste prea mult si asta nu e de bine deloc. I-am vazuut putin din puteri dar are un as in maneca sigur. Sun curios ce o sa faca Ainz dupa asta si cum o sa fie si Ainz si Momon in acelasi timp like..interesting things will come soon.
  Legat de muzica..nimic interesant, dar oricum nu mi-au placut openingurile si endingurile in primul rand ofera spoilere si in al doilea melodiile nu au fost pe gustul meu. :)
  Am asteptari mari de la urmatorul sezon cine stie cand incepe sa imi spuna si mie :)) Multumesc anticipat.

  A great conclusion to the events of its previous season, unfortunately the CGI was a bit much this time...

  When it comes down to sequels, Overlord never utterly disappointed. It had always delivered what we wanted in the end, despite some of its shortcomings along the way. For an anime that is notorious for its debatable CGI, it still holds its place as a well known seinen that many have come to love and enjoy, myself included. And Overlord 3 is no different in this regard, it still manages to hold a great storyline thanks to the buildup of the previous season. With increased talent and effort put into the art/animation and soundtrack, I knew I was in for a ride. So without further ado, here’s my review of Overlord 3!

  Art and Animation: 8.3/10

  • I immediately noticed an increase in quality when I first began this season, and I was thoroughly enjoying it. Most of the new characters had great designs that were interesting (anyone else get Archer vibes from the King?) and entertaining to watch. I especially annoyed the action scenes that were to follow, the great vibrancy of colors added more intensity to the scenes. Unfortunately, this season presented the CGI very poorly, ESPECIALLY towards the end. After doing some research, many Overlord fans were displeased at the results of the CGI. After looking at the “what could have been” I can confirm that there was A LOT of wasted potential in the ending episodes because of the unneeded CGI. I had also noticed a few CRITICAL mistakes in terms of animation. There were a few moments where the lip syncing was mistimed, which ruined the immersion quite a bit. A simple mistake like this shouldn’t even be happening, especially for a well known studio like Madhouse. This is why the art/animation score is lower than it’s predecessors.

  Storyline and Character Progression: 8.7/10

  • There wasn’t too much to expect from this season to begin with. Most of the stage had already been set for most of the character cast, and the ones that were added had received ample development. As far as the storyline goes, I really enjoy the events that had unfolded. There wasn’t any point where the storyline dragged on unnecessarily, and the pacing of the storyline was comfortable to follow along with as well. In the end, this season was above average when it addressed both character progression and storyline.

  Soundtrack and Audio: 9.2/10

  • I honestly may be a little biased when I say this, but this seasons OP was AMAZING!!! It’s without a doubt my favorite of the 3, but it’s also one of my top 5 favorite OP of all time! When it came to the pure quality of the soundtrack, it was used very well at the appropriate times, without it being used too much to the point of becoming stale. The ED as well was very decent and held to the environment fit for an Overlord anime. The character voice actors were just as good as the previous seasons as well, with great emotion and convincing acting.

  When it came down to raw entertainment and soundtrack, this season was definitely my favorite. In terms of character progression/storyline, Overlord 2 had executed this department the best. And as far as overall enjoyment and consistency, the first Overlord held its place. In the end, this series had some of the best entertainment to offer, especially in regards to its world building. Unfortunately, it was stained with the reputation of having some of the worst CGI that took away from the mood. In conclusion, don’t focus too much on the moments of CGI, because everything else is such a joy to watch! That’s why I’m giving this season an 8.7/10, because while it was such an entertaining watch......it definitely made some crucial mistakes that couldn’t be ignored.
