DESCRIPTION
The wandering knight, Bedivere, reaches the end of his journey.
The year is A.D. 1273 in Jerusalem.
The Holy Land has been transformed into a massive desert, the people have been forced out of their homes, and three major powers wage war with each other in this wasteland. The Knights of the Round Table come together to protect the Holy City and their Lion King. With the whole of his kingdom summoned into a strange land, Ozymandias, the Sun-King, quietly plots against the tyranny of this bizarre realm.
The mountain people, protectors of those who were stripped of their land, await their chance at rebellion. In order to fulfill his mission, Bedivere heads for the Holy City where the Lion King rules. There he meets humanity’s final Master, Ritsuka Fujimaru, who has come to Jerusalem, accompanied by his Demi-Servant, Mash Kyrielight, in their quest to restore human history.
Bedivere joins with Fujimaru and his companions to undertake this quest.

50/100poor and mediocre, yet a fate anime always keeps me goingContinue on AniListWarning: I'm not good with words but I really want to let out what I feel about this movie
I have never seen such a lazy and atrocious adaptation as this one, unlike other Fate series adaptation that's not entirely perfect we can see studios like A-1 pictures for Fate/Apocrypha, CloverWorks for FGO Babylonia, Ufotable for the main series or Fate Zero or even Deen's Fate Stay Night put their heart and soul into the series for both anime only or source material reader to enjoy, hell even some people prefer the adaptation more to source material.
SPOILERS AHEAD
But this Camelot movie, nope. Not a single soul i've seen think it's good or decent. I watched this movie as both source material reader and an "anime only". It's such a lazy adaptation, the dialogue was changed entirely and the pacing was faster than Lightning McQueen. There was no impact whatsoever during Rushd's mother death or Da Vinci's sacrifice, there were more build up in the game and the very impact was there even for the minor scene possible.
Not to mention that they cut Touta and Hassan and the Hundred Personas. It honestly sucks because THAT Sanzang scene in part 2 will not hold much meaning anymore. As of the characters here I feel like Mash, Sanzang and Da Vinci was butchered here, it's sad considering this is the singularity where Mash will get a huge character development resulting in her becoming on my favourite character in anime but here's hoping they'll do her justice in the next movie.
That prison scene was SO AWKWARD. Considering how the mission in the game was saving Sanzang's disciple Touta, it's like there were no impact or significance during that scene. I may not remember correctly but there was supposed to be more of Serenity but it's alright I guess
THE POSITIVE
Now enough for the negative, here's the positive or what I like about this movie. No matter how bad the adaptation is I can't help but enjoyed it with all my heart, my heart will jump of joy no matter which type of Fate i'm watching, so there's that. Fight scenes was not bad as people said so it kinda exceeds my expectation there. The last 20 minutes were good for me but wasn't enough to cover up the atrocious remaining one hour. Ozymandias scene is pretty alright, liked it more than the game.. mainly because of the voice acting
Nitrocis is pretty hot here, so that's a plus :3
Highlight of this movie was definitely Stella vs Rhongominyad, that was PERFECT. Exactly like I imagined honestly, so i'll give them credits for that.
Overall Thoughts
All in all, this was an atrocious and messy adaptation that can't be enjoy by many but I somehow enjoyed and honestly not really recommended to first watcher. It's better to just play the game. I'm just sad because I gave this singularity a perfect 10 in the gane, here's hoping that Camelot part 2 will be a better adaptation than this one.

1/100This doesn’t even look like it's FateContinue on AniListThis will be a quick review
First of all, I've never played FGO. The only thing I knew before is that this singularity happens before Babylonia, which had received a wonderful anime adaptation that I love and adore so much. My knowledge on Type moon comes from watching previous Fate installments, and Kara no Kyoukai and interacting with some fgo and fsn vn players.
Aside from Ufotable aesthetic which has been synonymous to Fate, other studios such as Aniplex owned A-1 pictures and Cloverworks also has done some fate works. Various studio gave different output, not to say the plot had many differences ; but one thing remain unchanged, marvelous character design and excellent fight animation. Be it Zero or UBW or recent Babylonia, Fate franchise never ceased to amaze me with shiny, cool-looking and sexy characters fighting with their all while providing meaningful (or less) dialogue which never stops being exciting.
This movie however is the exact opposite of what I think Fate is, or at least I used to think.
This 90 minutes long movie took place in Arabian desert featuring 3 key locations, the holy city near Jerusalem, sun king's palace and the secret village. All of where fights between servants happened, and I regret to say, all of them sucked. From fight choreography to animation, both hand drawn or digital effect, looked so generic and dull that it might lose to any generic LN adaptation's sword fight. How they made a whole movie from one of the most popular mobile game and struggles in comparison with any typical TV anime?
A simple sword fight between Mordred and Bedivere had minimal dynamism, lack of weight balance, no perspective and basically "swords clash and they flash" type things. All of the new servants had less attractive design due to a lack of details, such as Caster priest. Some focused shots on her cleavage didn’t help the fact that they looked more like a bunch of lines than a proper design. Background art looked dull, sun-king's castle is as gloomy looking as his kingdom, CG debris felt like a slice of cake rather than made of stone, and the subpar effect animation only made me sigh thinking about HF 3rd movie.I'm not a huge fan of Ufotable's overabundant use of digital effects, but I'll happily take that over this dull looking mess. Above all, this movie doesn’t look or sound fancy, might be the most disappointing thing about this movie, but hold on the plot's there.I've heard praise of Camelot's storyline, of how it's the most philosophically rich singularity. This movie put a question mark on this statement. Aside from the fact that Fate servants always required you to know who they are, this movie went beyond and failed to provide whatever they were trying to do. Not only they failed to bring out the best of the emotions servants are facing, specially Bedivere since he's a main character, it also caused me to feel nothing for his job. Like why he's so sad, acting like a heartbroken prince who just lost his kingdom. I can get behind his sadness but not throughly, it's like mourning for a random person's death. Like every death brings sadness but it becomes something special due to the person involved sharing something meaningful, a deep bond. This movie failed to provide me enough emotional context to his state of mind. It's not only limited to him,all the other characters faced same consequence, as if it lacked any heart.
Poor character introduction, then being stubborn to provide at least some context of why the characters are doing something or what. The movie did a poor job in handling the buildup to the climax, to the point that every supposed big moment felt very underwhelming. Dialogue wasn’t adding much, it's clear that they were skipping huge bulk of contents within this chapter. There should have been at least one exposition scene for a non player like me. Though it's clear they weren’t intending to attract new audience so I guess I was already doomed to begin withMusic wasn’t anything standalone, rather they were disappointing in a sense that they failed to bring out proper emotion to the scene. Like the ending scene where something heroic was happening, but the music they played had a sad tone and I was wondering if I should feel proud for this heroic deed or mourn for his spoiled death? I was confused hence just like rest of the movie played out I was being stoical, something I didn’t expect myself to be from a fate installment.
When this movie came out and every fgo fans were losing their temper I thought like every other movie adaptation they left out a lot of contents. What I didn’t expect that it actually had left out everything good about possibly every fate installments. This doesn’t even look like Fate. Coming from the exciting TV anime adaptation of Babylonia I was expecting at least some decent fight animation, cool looking characters and a whole load of waifu. I can certainly live with all the contents left behind but I can't accept an uncool fate. This first Camelot movie didn’t have one single good character or their moments I could cheer for, it's just like a bunch of unrelated stuff conjoined together having no logic no reason and no thoughts behind. From every angle I can't imagine a single good thing I liked about this.
I'm utterly disappointed and heartbroken, want to erase this from my memory.Though I have a faint hope the next camelot movie will at least be better than this.

85/100This movie could have been betterContinue on AniListFate ⁄ Grand Order Shinsei Entaku Ryouiki Camelot 1 - Wandering; Agateram
Summary of my review: Really fun but could have been more
Story or Plot = 9/10:
- The story starts with a person walking through the dessert as he is trying to find the holy city which is Camelot. I love how this is probably a dark story on the world of Fate/Grand Order, where King Arthur lost her humanity as she and the round table just mercilessly kill civilians that are in need of help which goes against the character of Altria Pendragon only because majority of the civilians are impure and tainted and only the ones she selected can go in the Holy City of Camelot. Fujimaru Ritsuka, Mash Kyrielight and Leonardo Da Vinci ventured out to find out what is this 6th Singularity and it's problem and how they will solve it. I had a lot of chills while watching the movie most especially when it is Bedievere fighting members of the round table as seeing how he has no talent yet still manages to be in the round table only to be the only member that has the sense of knowing that what they are all doing are wrong and shouldn't kill innocent civilians that are just trying to live while the world is ending from the Singularity.
Characters = 8/10:
-
Not one characters there in the movie are unlikeable to me, Ozymandias who has the voice of Dio Brando is like Gilgamesh but different, also the main characters are also enjoyable to watch as they travel to meet Hassan of the Cursed Arm and save Hassan of Serenity.
-
The antagonist are all interesting to me, seeing that King Arthur and The Round Table are the antagonist makes it really endearing for me to watch, sadly it might have been better if there was someone related to Altria other than Bedievere could have appeared like something that could make it all the more interesting to watch.
Animation = 6/10:
This may not be the strongest point of the movie, moreover this movie was animated by Studio Signal.MD which may not be the best studio to do the job but I still enjoyed and have fun watching the movie, it may feel stiff at some part which I won't point out but try to find out lol.
Artstyle = 6.5/10:
- May not be the artstyle that I would prefer to watch but ya get what ya get, as I watched CloverWorks animate Fate/Grand Order TV Series and find it satisfying and so smooth and clean to watch, this one though is different and it is really different but nothing that can really be really bad to point out other than the facial expression or face on some of the characters.
Soundtrack = 7/10:
- I love some of the soundtracks that are being presented in the movie yet it feels lackluster or feels the need to add some soundtracks/musics on some of the scenes to increase some of the intensity.
Final Review: I may have fun watching the movie and love every second of it but I won't hesitate to point out some parts that feels lackluster or overall need improvement but I do recommend you guys watch this movie though you need to prior knowledge of the story but who cares.
