  Lust geass is undoubtedly a softcore hentai, and it certainly isn't vanilla

  I'll be hating the number 37 for the rest of my llfe.

  I initially read Lust geass because I was looking for some mindless ecchi fun where the story didn't matter as much as the spicy scenes that commonly do happen. I won't recommend it for people that are wanting a proper manga because it certainly isn't. Looking at the nice art implies that it is indeed a serialized doujin, not that I'm complaining.

  I was not supposed to make something this long, but anilist didn't allow me to be concise with words, so I'll be extrapolating things a bit. Feel free to skip the next paragraphs

  Alright, so the art in itself is pretty fantastic. The body proportions were well drawn and the girls didn't look like inflated balloons. What keeps Lust geass from being a full blown hentai(even though it already is) is the lack of sex scenes. I cant remember the full details of each chapter, but the farthest the scenes would only go is 1: implied intercourse, 2: the dubious amount of foreplay happening, and 3: the premise of the story that used 'not having sex' as a plot device. I can no doubt say that the art was strongest in this manga.

  Story? Never heard of it.

  It makes you question, why is no anime cataloguing site flagging this as a hentai manga based on the story alone?

  Well, the story is something you'd see in most doujins. The story is trashy, lacking in creativity, and is obviously straightforward in nature. In other words, the story is shit. I won't comment no further because I wasn't looking for works like these for the gripping story.

  The characters can be described as just kind of bland, except for 2 characters. As what you would expect from a trashy manga, there's nothing to be fussing over on the writing, but then the author decided to write the main character.

  He's lame, very airheaded and is frustratingly indecisive. I would grip my teeth when I see the MC just behaving so out of touch, AS THE CUCK THAT HE IS. The "main heroine" goes without saying, is the archetypical osananajimi of the manga. I put this in apostrophes because half of the manga didn't really feature her. She was just there while MC is having a steamy threesome in the middle of nowhere.

  But then it devolved. Fucking hell.

  It spiraled into something that was awfully appalling.

  I'll spare you the words and say that just...dont read this one. Take it from someone who reads too much doujins on his free time and enjoy works that won't give us this blatant bullshittery.

  From chapter 37 onwards, the author just ran out of material and just hit us with the oldest trick in making a deprevity of a work, the good 'ol NTR.

  It is very apparent at this point that the author is losing grip of his work. The first few chapters were already a bad omen on a narrative standpoint, but the manga could've just went on the absolute harem route and be done with it. From a hot saucy premise to a disingenuous mess created out of sheer desperation, it is both sad and disappointing. It'll only be a matter of time before Lust Geass gets axed and I'm fine with it. The author already turned me off the moment he tries to be edgy.

  I'm obviously biased in this review and you do you if you like it. It's just my hatred of the genre knows no bounds.

  So, in short, skip on this manga if you hate NTR. You're just going to come out very frustrated with everything around you. The art may be fantastic but it's not Worth it. Not worth it at all.
