DESCRIPTION

A rainy morning in April. Cherry blossoms are struck by the rain and floats in the puddle. High school students enter the school gate, carrying various colors of umbrellas.

"Good morning, Ren," Yua greeted Ren, wearing wet tights in front of the shoe cupboard. When Ren faced her glumly, Homi, who was drenched, joined them as if she is jumping. The girls discuss the new semester.

The girls live their irreplaceable school life as the seasons change.

I never thought that I would say this, but this is a comfy ecchi.
The first morning of the new semester is rainy, with cherry blossoms falling onto the puddles. Students enter the school gate with various umbrellas. In front of the shoe locker, Yua starts chatting with her friend, Ren Aikawa, whose tights got wet from the rain. Homi, who was drenched, joins them.

While the plot description might be a bit simple, and more of a rough outline of the first episode, that's because this series doesn't have all that complex of a plot. The running time for this series, including the bonus episode, is less than an hour long. But a complex or long running plot isn't the focus of this ecchi series. The focus is the three high school girls that we are introduced to at the beginning of the series.

This is going to seem a bit weird, but this ecchi series doesn't really have the blatant sexual overtones of most ecchi series. Oh, it's still meant for you to get your rocks off to, but there isn't any of the regular ecchi tropes here, such as the male protagonist accidentally seeing one of the female characters naked or in a state of undressing or dressing, or one of the female characters being covered up by conveniently placed steam in a steamy public bath house. Instead, the whole series is slow shots of girls putting on stockings and their feet.

That's right, this is a foot fetish ecchi series. Surprisingly, they do exist out there. Most of this series is slow panning shots of the three main girls in various states of putting on, wearing, or taking off stockings, along with shots of their feet. And I never thought that I would say this about an ecchi series, but Miru Tights is pretty comfy. While it's pretty simplistic, it still somehow managed to make it's characters charming and likable.

To top it all of, the animation is really nice. Although that's probably help by the fact that a lot of the shots are very basic, but that doesn't take away from the fact that it's a nice looking series. My only complain is that the whole series seems to have some slight chromatic aberration throughout it, but it's not all that distracting.

Would I recommend Miru Tights? Yes. It's wonderfully animated, the characters are actually likable, and despite the short length, it actually takes it's time making sure the audience gets what it wants. If feet and stockings is your thing, then this anime is definitely for you.

Feet Feet Feet Feet Feet
MMmm, fondling those precious thighs, feeling the firm, taught, texture of the tights envelop you. Majesty is artfully hidden behind such an innocent, inviting premise, that it's hard not to get lost in the sights and sounds. Teachers in tights, schoolgirls in tights, friends in tights, sisters in tights, alls I need now is to burn these gifs into my brain so I may never forget them as long as I live.

You have not experienced characters as you have until you have seen this. Each girl has a distinct trait that I refuse to spoil here, and a unique way they express their thighs. Blatantly, embarrassingly, slyly, all combine to pacing perfection as you run the whole gamete of thigh appreciation in this hour-long lower-body experience. Side characters are few and far between, but the few that have dialogue are some of the most memorable, a la Shakespeare's masterful use of lesser-developed characters to bolster the story and the characters that have been developed.

The sound design is immaculate. Every time an episode ends, and the ED singer croons "softly, softly" I manage to lose myself in her voice the further and further. Tights rubbing against things, ripping, all sound spectacular, not to even mention the girl's voices. Sweet like fruit, because fruit is sweet and healthy, these girls are each two pillars that hold down the anime and keep us grounded. Those two pillars? Their thighs. That means six pillars in total, plus two more if you include the teacher's character. The thighs ground the viewer, but what parts of the anime, if any, Achieve Heaven?

The Feet.

We are not yet to arguably the best part of any ecchi, which these shorts deliver ten-fold - the Feet. Establishing shots show that our protagonists know how succulent and attractive their feet are wet, so they make sure to splash in every puddle on their way to school. Feet serve to give the viewer not just a purpose while watching, catching glimpses in every episode like hidden easter eggs, they serve to give us a purpose in life. To strive for a woman who lets us touch their Feet is the goal... but it will never be enough. While you're laying in bed, mission accomplished, there's still something nagging at you. You look through your phone, side-piece to your side - why was I chasing Feet my whole life? You stop on Miru Tights, and you once again are sucked in as our three protagonists wet their feet for our viewing pleasure. You get a glass of cold water and pour it over your lover's feet, waking them up with a low groan. You start marveling at their Feet again... but the moment fades just as quickly as the last. You press play and continue watching. By this point, the girl has left your apartment in exasperation. Forget about her, you don't need her anymore. Because you realize the thing you've been chasing, has been in front of you this whole time.

Disclaimer: If you like feet or something along this line, don't read this review because there's the possibility that you could feel verbally assaulted.

Miru Tights.
When I saw this title for the first time I immediately thought "There's NO WAY they made an anime about tights. There's NO WAY.". Guess what.

The plot is pretty basic, three high school girls do high school girls things, and there's a bit of yuri romance every now and then, normal stuff (or at least my degeneration makes me think so). There's only one, peculiar, characteristic: the camera is focused on the main characters' tights in almost every scene. In an episode they rip their socks off and need to replace them, in another one you'll be trapped inside the point of view of a cat under a table. Normal stuff. The yuri scenes have no meaning whatsoever and they do not influence the story, they are just another way to make clear that even the animation studio had no idea of what the fuck they where making.

Send feet.

Oh, another thing. Every scene is meticulously written to get you horny, so just enjoy the vision I guess. The episodes are also 7 minutes long, so watch it if you have nothing better to you. But I'd rather break my head with a hammer or jump off a cliff than watching this again. Just saying.

I have litterally nothing else to say, it's just a anime about tights and feet, you'll get litterally nothing else. Maybe you want to watch it for the romance. Well, there's none. If you want a good yuri anime, there are many other choices, don't event think about this one. It's for your own good.
My only question is "What the actual fuck were they thinking?". Imagine being an animator, you go to work and they tell you "Here, animate 7 minutes of feet and we'll pay you.".

I just don't understand. 200 years ago we were fighting for our ideals, now we sexualize a part of the body which is NOT MEANT TO BE SEX RELATED AT ALL. We are all going straight to hell.

I litterally have no words. I mean, seriously, I have nothing else to write. I'll just say one last thing to yall degenerates who are about to read this review: why. I wanna know. Why do you love feet. I mean, I do understand why people sexualize tights, they are a soft part and we are naturally attracted to other soft parts that i cannot name because otherwise they'll delete this review and I'll have just wasted 20 minutes of my life writing this. I'm not mad, just disappointed. "Why do you hate people Thingy? Why are you always sad?". I just lost faith in humanity, my dudes. And please, stop asking for feet to camgirls, it's disgusting.
