  save yourself from a terrible awful sequel that seems hellbent on destroying anything good with Peach Girl

  Series so bad I had to write a review airing my frustrations. As everyone said they tossed out any development from the originals and instead we get almost 30 year olds running around making bad decisions (the sequel takes place 10 years after peach girl). When they were young adults I felt more sympathy for them and their inability to communicate… Now when they’ve already been through all this in the past? Just pisses me offff. Let’s start with destroying everything we liked about the characters from the original. Sae has a new backstory and is the same as she was at the start of Peach Girl. So if you actually liked the first sequel (Sae’s story) you can forget about that completely, it’s not relevant. Momo no longer has self respect and dignity. Her fiery doesn’t take shit from anyone attitude? Lmao byeeee. Now she’s just a pushover who is chastised for not having GODLY patience and trust. Apparently it’s a bad thing that she asks her partner to put her first and not drop everything for a woman who he hasn’t spoken to in 10 years. Kiley… well he doesn’t exist here and has been replaced with a skin walker called Kairi. TELL ME WHY HE IS STILL OBSESSED WITH MISAO TO THE POINT WHERE HE WAS READY TO DESTROY HIS WHOLE LIFE FOR HER?? HE EVEN SAID THAT HE WISHES SHE PICKED HIM? Tbh if that’s how you feel brother Momo absolutely deserves better than your stank ass the most he could do for her was blow up some damn balloons because he’s filled with nothing but hot air. The fact he said that was never once addressed just… I guess Momo has to literally almost die for him to give a rat’s ass about her because otherwise she’s nothing but some dust on his shoe meanwhile he’s too busy playing house with what’s her face who HAS ALSO been rewritten to be completely pathetic and not even standing up for herself just relying on Kairi like an emotional support crutch. She also did not give a rats ass that his engagement to Momo was called off thanks to her… Nope she destroyed a 10 year relationship and said “meh I’m putting me first” or some bullshit. Why was Toji the only person here who acted somewhat decent not that it mattered… Momo still picked the fucking bum in the end. I cannot believe this manga made me wish Kairi would die painfully in a fire but that’s the kind of mess this sequel is. Sae’s antics aren’t even FUN because the whole casts KNOWS she’s a manipulator? Like pack your bags literally nothing to see here. The drama was just a rehash of the original but less fun. I hate read this out of curiosity.. The art while being more modern has less personality than the original series. I truly recommend you stay away from this if you can help it.
