85/100An attempt to review and a personal opinion about a great adaptation.Continue on AniList_Narrator: Susuki Iruma, age fourteen. One day, he became the gradson of a demon called Sullivan. Sullivan loves to spoil Iruma to bits and is even sending him to school. But there is just one problem... The school Iruma is attending is the demon school Babyls. Iruma: I need to make sure they don't find out I'm human... Or I might get eaten!_ This is the whole plot that most episodes tell us and in essence the only one we need to live this great adventure together with Iruma.
As a manga reader, I couldn't be more satisfied with this anime adaptation.
With regard to its genre, what can you have a simple view as a slice of life, we can all expect several things: Comedy, some romance, some drama, lucky and unfortunate situations in the style of anime, etc.
Mairimashita! Iruma-kun will give you all this and more, the great development that happens Iruma and the charismatic characters, in his "fantastic" school will make you feel that you are also going to his school.
Below are some points about the technical section that I liked about anime.
Animation: Well ... I do not know much about this, but for me the animation always seems fluid and if any image can be detected "something static", it served to give tension to the situation which I think helps a lot.
Seiyuus (voice actors): This is something that I see that not many people comment, but that I always appreciate a lot when watching an anime. The simple fact that a voice does not work with the personality of a character, in my opinion can ruin it a lot. In this case all voices are very energetic and hard work is noted when it comes to demonstrating emotions or in the most common situations. (Above all Clara, my God! As I love her voice, it's perfect!)
Music: I don't know about y'all, but for me music was always perfect with every situation, especially that tune of funeral organ that always sounded, showing some relationship with the school. (Although sometimes it could be something repetitive)
The characters are very enjoyable to see and it is certain that you will at least get fond of one of them, or maybe the same thing happens to me and you end up hating someone in the depths of your heart.Personal opinions
The student who liked the suffering.
One of the most anticipated arches that was that of Kirio and could not be more satisfied with the faithful adaptation they made, adding some scenes achieve the goal that we understand the intentions of Kirio and his Odyssey in destroying the school. As well as the determination of Iruma and its growth in the face of such adversities.
And please ... It's not the same to see this:That this:
Simply I loved it.
Favorite episode: # 8 “Head Over Heels fo Clara”
How do you turn 21 pages of a manga into a 24-minute chapter? Here is the proof, this is my personal opinion but this is one of the chapters that I loved the most. Not only is it true to 100% about the “manga” but it improves it, the fact of connecting Iruma's encounter with Ameri made this episode shine more than not. And if that wasn't enough they put a song like cherry on the cake. And I must admit, my heart raced again.
When I saw this scene one more time.
About the Final episode:
A quiet and fun episode that shows us how Iruma has become accustomed to the Underworld. And at the same time it shows us all the development of Iruma and his long way forward and that he still has to follow. Also with a final scene that would surely make anyone curious.__Conclusion__ Mairimashita! Iruma-kun is a good anime with an excellent cast, good animation, good music, excellent development and personality of the characters and a great overdose of madness and fantasy that will always lead us to have the curiosity to know more and more about this world in which Iruma lives, called the "Underworld" and his adventure to become the Demon King.
And as the Opening says…“We're just getting started!”. Well, this adventure is just beginning and there is still a lot to see about Iruma and his friends. In my case, I am eager to see the second season. Thank you for reading.

Continue on AniListMairimashita! Iruma-kun
Owen23
100/100Like a high school anime, but with demons instead of humans.Continue on AniListThis review contains spoilers. Please do not send these spoilers to the demon world, you don't know what the demons will do with them.
Iruma is just an average boy, until he gets sent to a demon world and enrolls in a school that's filled with demons, will he survive, or will get into antics with all of his demon friends, let's find out in Welcome to Demon School, Iruma-Kun!
THE STORY: 10/10
After Iruma-Kun gets sent into a world of demons, and has to fit right into a crowd of demons. Along the way, he meets the top student Alice and the weird but fun-loving Clara and makes friends with them, he also bumps into Ameri, who begins to fall in love with him after reading one of her manga.
There's a lot of cool arcs in this series, but the most important of them is the Battler Party arc, where the school is trapped under a dome and Iruma knows that Kirio was behind this all, betraying that Kirio wasn't a friend, but an enemy all along, and it even has an intense climax that leads into the Demon School celebrating the festival they had before the dome came along.
_Love at first sight, or love at first sight at accident?_ THE CHARACTERS: 10/10
Demon School has a variety of demons, uniquely designed for each one of them, even the background characters seen in crowd shots look unique, and each demon, student or teacher, tells their own story, such as the sleepy Picero Agares, or the sweet plant-loving Suzie Stolas.
Even there's episodes focused on other characters, one of them is the Clara-focused episode, "Head Over Heels For Clara", in which she joins the seduction class and learns how to flirt with demons, eventually combining her techniques with all her might on Iruma and learns about her beautifulness, in fact, it's one of my personal favorite episodes for how it's focused on my favorite crazy demon.
_We now return to "When Botany Magic Goes Haywire!"_ VISUALS: 10/10
The art-style of show looks kind of great, seeing how every demon stands out with their unique designs of all shapes, sizes, colors, and species too, it awes me how the character designers of the show makes sure each one stands out from the rest.
Each location also looks unique, fitting in with the spooky theme of the anime itself, such as the haunting orange and purple hues of the school festival in the Battler Party, or Suzie's class that looks like a greenhouse filled with types of demon plants.
SOUND: 10/10
The OP of the show gets you pumped up for Iruma's antics in the school full of demons, and the upbeat pumping tone of it sets the OP's mood. The ED also has also a happy, upbeat vibe to it, showcasing the female demons just having un and partying around, giving hype before the Sukima closes out each episode.
Even Clara's songs stand out, despite then having the same tune, but my favorite one has to go to the "Smooch Smooch Smooch" song they performed in EP. 8, showing how Clara loves her family and vice-versa. Even the song performed in ep. 22, where the trio of Iruma's friend perform on stage, gives off upbeat vibes of being on a Dem-Dol itself.
_Just give these demons the ol' razzle dazzle tonight!_ ENJOYMENT:
At the end of 2023, I started watching this anime and it looks kind of good, it has tons of crazy character designs, a bunch of good arcs, and even the Sukima's had their moments. The Battler Party arc made me think that Iruma will save the day, and he did, hoping that he'll release everybody out of the dome and celebrate the festival after all he went through. I also liked how each episode is a spooky delight, from playing dodgeball demon-style to the Dem-Dols, each one was kind of great for me to sit to.
If you like your high school anime, but want to mix it up with more demon-y elements and magic instead of the usual humans and whatnot, this anime seems right up your alley. It's got that fun-charm it has, and the tones of the show are haunting, but also upbeat too. We could all use an anime that's filled with more demons, and less humans, like this one.
_Just look how happy they are!_
