100/100Quick recap of my thoughts, from chapter 314 to the epilogue!Continue on AniListSo, I just caught up on the latest 90~ chapters and WOO IT WAS SO WORTH IT!
To start off with. I left off around chapter 314 (so spoilers for all of that onwards), just about to enter the Great Prison. Of course we love our anti-hero duping Pandora at every turn HAHA.
I loved the Great Prison arc, although I was confused when it seemed there were only two levels to it (the first, city-like level and then the forest) because from how it was described near the start of their quest. I assumed it was going to be like, 5-7 levels deep? But it ended up looking like just those two. No complaints, nice streamline for Ju-Heon to get to Crow.
It created nice conflict when he decided to leave in the middle and come back for Crow later, maybe a little frustrating but it was good tension. Same thing when Jun (Cradle, but I'll call him Jun) offered him the gate. I also thought that was a nice touch, and good insight into Ju-Heon's character. Yes, he's an utter bastard who would kill and maim his enemies at the drop of a hat. But! It's usually deserved and gratifying. Morally grey characters, my loves.
The addition of Chiyou was cool and maybe I've got a thing for masks, but hey, it looks badass. I think they designed it well and it's very intimidating in-world.
The original Majesty was a good plot twist, though his "Pandora Defense" was a bit OP and under explained. Oh well, random relic bullshit go! His and Crow's relationship is fun to imagine. I want to know more about his reign, was he a pushover, that he was supposedly so strong but still got killed by Prometheus and co.? Or did hey have such good organisation that it happened anyway? Also the fact that he inspired such loyalty in Crow. Although, that could be explained in the fact that The Incident must have been a shock to her, and being busy with being imprisoned may not have given her time to grieve. Crow is an interesting person and I wish we had more insight into her mind.
To be honest I completely forget Irene was a character until she showed up some 50+ chapters later. I don't like her much but she's very sweet and her and Ju-Heon are cute together, especially his ring-acquisition scene. Man, that was a great reveal! Very well done and super cute!
The epilogue is also good, the throne design suits Ju-Heon's tastes very well. Jun is seeming a little jealous at this point, maybe not having known Ju-Heon for very long (if you don't count the original timeline) is giving him trust issues. I do think alerting the media about what he has been is a bit overboard, but hey, it keeps Ju-Heon busy so at least it's effective.
Not much else to say, great series 10/10 would recommend and I have also sent at least 3 different people a million screenshots of Ju-Heon, trying to convert them to be readers LMAO

55/100My opinion on Tomb raider kingContinue on AniListTomb raider is a good series but i actually found it a little boring and rushed. For one thing there is no emotional connection between the reader and the characters, not even with the main character, jooheon suh.
Jooheon suh is always portrayed as a smart, overpowered mc with OP powers and it prioritizes showing his "cool and cold side" which i think was a total waste considering he had a lot of reason to have trauma from his past life, this was even hinted by other characters in the manhwa however it was really never talked about or shown after, which in turn i think made Jooheon Suh a very bland and recycled mc. No mention of his trauma or how it effects him (cause it apparently doesn't) and the random storylines that are thrown throughout the story to make everything easy for Joohen suh.
If jooheon suh were to be compared to Sung jin woo from solo levelling then jooheon would lose, because unlike him sung jin woo was portrayed beautifully; with his trauma's, his struggles and numerous trials he fought hard to become the strongest and so on. These factors that was portrayed through sung jin woo in less than 200 chapters could not be portrayed even a little bit all throughout all 411 chapters of tomb raider.
Next the other characters or Jooheon suh's teammates are also characters with a lot of potential but ultimately numbed down to strong characters that helps our MC. Reading this story i was disappointed with how rushed the characters were considering that they had tragic backstories that was never talked about enough in the story. For example, Jaeha Yoo. Jaeha yoo was one of our MC's comrades that helped and committed suicide due to guilt in the 1st life. Seolha lee who was in a relationship with joohen suh in their 1st life but in the 2nd life joohen suh found someone else which was again brushed off fairly quickly as if to make space for the action packed storyline and so on.
So overall their is no in depth connection a reader can make with any of the characters which is a bummer really considering this would make no character meaningful nor any character worth any hate, it like its just meh throughout.
The next issue i had with this manhwa was the lack of plot. What i mean is our MC never really struggles with anything. Never feels despair, everything comes easy to him cause he is just soo OP and we never really see him struggle to achieve anything. sure there were hurdles that our MC would deem "annoying to deal with" but other than that everything is basically served to him on a silver platter. The plot makes it so that the person he needed "just happens to be his friend" "the tool he needed to open the great prison happens to be a relic he got and didn't think much about" "only one person can figure this ancient relic out and it just so happens to be his long lost twin sister" and so on. The complete lack or trial and tribulations makes this so much less appealing to read as the chapters go on.
So thats just my opinion of the manhwa
