That's a title you really wouldn't expect to see under a typical BL romance story with a rating of 9.4/100. Me neither to be honest, I didn't expect to have to step away and shed some tears before I continued reading. Why I cried and why it hit me right in the core of my feelings is at the end of the review.

First, let's talk about the manhaw.

It's a very cute story about Sung Jun who works at an animal adoption café, when on his way home he stumbles upon a dog in an alleyway that he decides to take home, even though he is a cat person. He leaves home to get essentials to take care of the dog named Tani only to return and he's no longer a dog, but a man. To top it off he completely acts like a dog too. To top it off he is the only one who can see him as a human, everyone else sees and hears him like a dog. Then a development happens, people can see him as a human also but only temporarily before whatever is keeping him human wears off.

Sung Jun discovered that after he and Tani exchanged kisses that he appears human to people temporarily. This then ensues a lot of hot and heavy make-out sessions and sexual frustration.

If you are worried he's making out with a dog, it's a yes and no. Tani is originally human and is human for Sung Jun but to everyone else, he is a dog. When they get hot and heavy he is human.
So if you were worried about there being bestiality, no need to worry it's very light and tastefully done.
If you wanted beastiality, sorry to disappoint but that's all we are getting lmao. No hot anime human/beast sex today, you'll have to scour the web again like the rest of us degenerates.

BUT no need to panic my fellow degenerates where we don't have anime human/beast sex we have extremely hot and heavy sex scenes. They quickly go from cute and quick pecks to hot make-out sessions with some touching and groping, to masturbating, blowjobs, and penetrative sex. To be honest their full-on sexual encounters kind of went a little quick and developed pretty fast, but later we find out they were also childhood friends(Sung Jun had a crush on Taeyoung aka Tani) so when you take into account their familiarity it's not a surprise they got physical quickly. Though they didn't know that they were childhood friends at first so it just shows you that they had natural chemistry.

With that being said it was so fucking hot. Between Taeyoung fat dick plowing Sung straight into the mattress and Sung being the perfect bottom, moaning and making the most beautiful expressions. It was fairly vanilla scenes, except for that one chapter where Taeyoung wore a dog collar when they fucked. Needless to say though, I got addicted and even heated myself ;)

BL's like this never disappoint in giving a full and satisfying experience with the sex scenes. You can easily see the love and passion they have for each other.

Of course, we had a little trouble in paradise because of the dick Grim Reaper who started it in the first place. Bastard said he was bored and wanted to have some fun fucking with them, but really without him meddling, he and Sung wouldn't have seen each other again. Even though we hate him I appreciate that bastard for playing cupid and making them work to learn to love each other more, even though that wasn't his intention at all. He was just trolling them with Haxx the bastard.

Of course, it's not a real anime/manga if it doesn't have a beach episode. Special episode 6.
Immediately I had AOT flashbacks for that chapter, the lighting, the posing, and all were just, absolutely perfect. I have no idea if it was done on purpose, but I loved it regardless. I'm a big-time AOT fan so it made me supper happy to see that bit.

It was just so beautiful for the proposal scene when Sung came out and was like "I actually had the same idea...." like omg Yuri On Ice vibes when they put the rings on. I was losing my mind, it was so cute >\\\<
__The Emotional Bit__
I did not expect to cry and honestly, I didn't want to relive my sorrow, but that's also why I love this manhwa for giving me those feelings.

One of the pets, Yeti, I have special feelings for and is my favorite character in the whole manhwa.

I've always loved older pets, they are so calm, wise in a way, very slow to anger, sassy, and just that overall old soul. I especially love when they show to still be young at times even if it's not often. They appreciate having a calm, safe space, a familiar place, and being with family. Honestly a lot like myself I'm a very calm person and I love older pets, they are so sweet.

I love Yeti and his affinity to wanting to be young but also being sassy, knowing what he wants, and waking to care and be with the puppy he was with. When I got to the chapter where the owner came back to the café and said "He crossed the rainbow bridge" and were reminiscing about who he was and having a good owner to make him comfortable before he passed...... it struck a chord in me so bad I had to take a few minutes and just cry it out before I could continue. It made me think about my precious kitty who passed away over a year ago at 15yrs (119 cat years). She was my everything and lived a full comfortable life much like how Yeti did but she was with me since I was 5 and was born in my living room. We had her cremated so she rests in bed beside me every night. There hasn't been a single night where she's not by my side.
I also loved the personal touch with Yeti looking out for Taeyoung and Sung when he passed and told Nam Du-song what was happening

Specifically, that's what makes this manhwa good because the author managed to grab my heart with my baby and give me an emotional attachment to Yeti. It was executed perfectly and I wouldn't want it any other way.

This manhwa struck a special chord in my heart. As an author, that's what you want to achieve with your audience. Even if I didn't have that experience, animal lovers and caretakers will also have an affinity with Yeti and the characters caring for him and the other animals.

This manhwa is definitely worth reading!
