Don't waste your coins on this story...
No because what actually was this... Probs heavy spoilers fyi, tried to mark off as much as I could.

What started out as a fun, magical-boy type manhwa turned into something completely different with an overly obsessed and toxic top, ultimately leading up to a memory-loss arc and "starting over" I actually wanted to throw my tablet across the room at how stupid this story was.
I thoroughly enjoyed the beginning of it with the concept of magical boys and thought that Hwan and Chiwoo would end up fighting evil together, not that Hwan would make Chiwoo scarifice himself, only to not remember him and make Hwan and him start over AGAIN. Not to mention, after they reconciled, there was no redemption spice, the story just ended.

Not to mention I thought Hwan was a great character, but the author just turned him into a completely different character. It would have been one thing if we saw at the end that the Hwan we knew was the one being manipulated by Moony and that wasn't the real him, but no, there was no explanation to that and it was ultimately unsatisfactory. Chiwoo should've just left him and found someone new.

Not to mention getting us attached to Jin and then killing him off cause "he was never real" like gtfo of here honestly. Chiwoo needed to be saved by Hwan. Its the way I rushed to read this because I couldn't wait for this to be over, and I had a small string of hope that was like "maybe the end will redeem this garbage heap of a story" But unfortunately, that was not the case.

Season 3's art style was completely different to the rest of the story, and I can't help but feel like the author just forgot what story they were writing. It was a fun, lighthearted story that turned into something disastrous with egregious amounts of plotholes, nothing answered, bad character development, shallow characters, not to mention the ending was just soooo incredibly incredibly stupid. I wish the author had just did the story like this:

Chiwoo fights monsters with his power, wants to grant his wish. Hwan also fights monsters with his power, neither of them know they are magical boys, until they catch each other. Then they fight monsters together, ultimately leading up to a boss of some kind. They save the world and end up happy together and there's no toxicity whatsoever. The obsession to ownership arc of Hwan was completely unnessecary and absolutely ruined the story. I wish it just stayed a light-hearted magical boy story with hot monsters.

That story has better ratings, so I'm hoping it'll be better, but I'm gonna take a pause on Sagold's works for now. I am seriously so mad I spent Lezhin coins on this cuz it was that stupid. Make Me Bark was stupid, but wasn't this bad... now I'm afraid to start Stranger than Friends....

Anyway 2/10 that was excruciating to read. Art was cute tho, and thats about it. Save your coins, friends.
