Fantastic art, great comedy, and decent story.
This manga is not for everyone. I'd go as far as to say that this manga isn't for most normal people. However, there is a good chance that if you have found your way to this review that you may be one of the people who would really enjoy this manga. I think this manga is actually criminally underrated. It should be way more popular than it currently is.

I'm going to mention some of the major things that people may find problematic, but that I don't personally consider to be an issue (my reasons why are explained in the sub-bullet points):
- There is a lot of nudity.
  
  After the first two chapters, the nudity isn't nearly as egregious. It is still very common, but this is not a manga that is intended to be used as wank material (at least for me). This manga is not on the same level as many of the other thinly veiled hentai you may be familiar with.
- There are a lot of instances of sexual violence (such as rape).
  
  There are a lot of instances of rape, however within the context of the manga they are depicted in a comedic and completely unrealistic manner. One of the main characters, for example, uses magic to turn his enemies in battle into enemies and then rapes them as a show of dominance. This is played for laughs and is not meant to be taken seriously.
  
  I acknowledge that people may find this to be very distasteful, so I encourage you to not read this manga if you are very squeamish when it comes to this topic (although, again, this sort of stuff is not taken very seriously, I'd compare it to how killing is in a Call of Duty game - it's not given much weight in game and so most people don't react much to it when they see it).
- Sexual humor and dick jokes are everywhere.
  
  This is a personal preference. Some people can't stand this sort of humor, and it can certainly get old. I don't think it has gotten old as of chapter 31, but my thoughts could certainly change if the same jokes are being repeated at chapter 100.
  
  An example of this would be how there is a character whose entire gimmick is (mild spoiler) that he uses something called "3 sword style" like in One Piece, except instead of holding the third sword in his mouth, his third sword is his 1 meter long penis which he uses in battle. Most other characters in this manga take this character seriously, which is a large part of why it is effective as humor.
I've given a few reasons why people might not be into the manga, so now I'll give a few reasons as to why I personally enjoy it.
1. The art is fantastic. I started reading the manga because of the artwork. It reminds a bit of Akira Hiramoto's (creator of Prison School) artstyle which I am very fond of. I wouldn't say that it is at the same level, but it is still better than most manga out there.
2. The comedy is great. I find this manga hilarious. I'm not good at articulating why I find things funny, but if you like absurd humor then I'm sure you'll enjoy this manga.
3. The characters are very solid. There is a very large cast of characters, and all of them have unique traits which allow them to stand out. The main character clearly has some sort of unrevealed history that I am interested in learning about.
4. The story is not as shallow as you may think at first. It certainly isn't groundbreaking in any way, but I would give the story so far a solid B. The author has a plan and they seem to be following through on it. It should be noted that it is very possible for things to change and for the quality of the story to take a nose dive going forward.
To conclude, I think this is a very solid manga with a lot of potential. If it is able to follow through on its current trajectory, I can see this becoming a cult classic. I am also looking forward to this artist's future work. They are very talented and it appears this is their first manga (at least it is the only one listed on AniList).

An erotic, comic, and possibly a masterpiece manga.
Rosengarten Saga got it all: Good comedy, a very promising story and concept, and ABSURD art.

It's been a long time since I've been so taken in by something, even though I never thought I would be. I didn't think this manga would be for me, but it exceeded all my expectations. So before I continue, I must warn everyone out there: This manga might not be for everyone; it touches on some pretty heavy topics (like rape and brutality), although it's always portrayed in a comedic way and it makes complete sense within the world of the manga.

The art is absolutely gorgeous, one of the best in recent manga (if not the best), and it always looks good, whether it's in fights or any casual moment. I must say there's a lot of detail everywhere, maybe you'll look at the back of a panel and still find something interesting back there, it gives a nice touch. It also has a >lot< of nudity, but it looks natural as you read it, it's not something you'll look at and think it's arousing (I guess?). I have to mention it again, the fight scenes are ABSOLUTELY amazing, I keep going back to read them.

The characters are a real strong point, it's quite funny how degenerate everyone is and how cool (almost) everyone is about it. Each personality is pretty well defined and unique, everyone has some pretty interesting thing about them, which can make you like a character not long after they are introduced. Also, all the characters are a reference to some mythological figures (you can guess from the names... Arthur, Beowulf, Alibaba, etc...) and some of the stuff that happens in the manga are actually related to the tales these characters are based on, which is pretty interesting.

As for the story: It is really captivating. The first chapter starts with a little shock but I still thought it was going to be a random, typical, adventure manga, but it soon took a wild turn to be something else entirely, and it only gets better as the chapters go on, the current potential is huge.
I've mentioned it before but I have to say it again, this manga is FUN, there's comedy all over the place. Maybe my comedy standards are pretty low, but I'm laughing all the time. And mixed in with all of that, is the erotic and degenerate stuff. And this brings me back to what I mentioned at the beginning, this manga will joke about everything, no matter how gruesome or taboo it might be, the "weight is lightened" with a humorous tone; this might be annoying for you if you're sensitive about it, but again, it's all written in a comedic way.

Every time a chapter ends, I'm always looking forward to the next one as I try to discuss what's going to happen next with a friend and it's always a fun surprise; the authors do a good job with the surprise element be it in fights or in general plot. It's always worth it.

So, if you can handle the extreme stuff I mentioned before, you're in for a nice, funny, erotic, degenerate and wild ride. I'm sure you won't regret it and you won't forget it.
