DESCRIPTION

An engaging journey of a person coming to terms with married life, unfurled to us through humour and a tinge of mystery
V4Watcher here to bring you the review, as precise and concise as possible. This review will talk about the whole series, including the last episode, which was an extremely fulfilling conclusion to an anime with a very unique concept. ___ I was like this one fine day without anything to do, but then my friend called me was like 'Bruh, there's this anime where they instantly agree to get married. You gotta watch it.' I was a bit hesitant to watch it at first, but after reading the summary, I was like 'Yes. I NEED to watch this.' It started off with our MC Nasa about to be yeeted by Truck-kun, but this is where this anime started to stand out from the rest. Instead of being killed and isekai'd into another universe where he had to battle Demon Lords, his future wife showed up and sustained most of the damage. There are many hints that Tsukasa is not actually human, which was a fun thing to search for while watching the anime. She sustained injuries from Truck kun but was able to walk freely, and one time she even said something anong the lines "You humans get diseases easily.' (The episode where Nasa had a cold I think? Don't remember too well.) The OP and ED is catchy, and when I heard it during this OVA, it brought back fond memories of me watching the series. Now that we've been reminded of the main story, let's get back to the concluding episode. One thing I loved is that they made this episode comedic and not just filled with parting and saddness. Usually animes fill the last episodes with saddness and farewells, but this was different. It showed the start of a new life for Nasa and Tsukasa. For half the episode, we looked at lonely Tsukasa, and for the other half a very embarassed Nasa and Tsukasa. The fact that they could make something like this actually hilarious and engaging to watch is really something. Overall, this final episode had good pacing, a small though solid plot, and humour showing it's face in all the right places. While it may not be the best anime you would've ever seen and blow your brains out, it is a short and engaging journey of a person coming to terms with married life, unfurled to us with humorous events and consistent pacing, along with a tinge of mystery surrounding it. Extremely wholesome. All in all, if I had to describe this anime in a few words...I would say it's Tonikaku Kawaii ;) V4Watcher out. (∗ ・‿・)ﾉ゛

A Review of The Tonikawa OVA: This shit fucking slaps!
SPOILERS Tonkawa: A very wholesome anime- that I'm going to forget basically everyone's names in -and an OVA that is even better. Tonkawa Over the Moon for you is a very sweet and wholesome romance anime, as many of you may know. Nasa, a very nerdy kid meets an Isekai Truck but is saved by a... "Very Cute"- his words, also mine.- Girl with Pink? Red Hair, Idk tbh. He is saved by her and he like really likes her so ya know he asks her to be his girlfriend, etc, etc. they get married! Now, this OVA obviously takes place after the first season of the anime, and damn it is so sweet. It really is an episode based around basically based around the First Night without your loved one, which I of course wouldn't know about, because I'm like 14, but that's beside the point here. They really do, do a good at conveying her anxiety around the entire matter. Now, are you really here for some great fucking writing? Yes, oh ok. Well, there's that of course, but there is also, of course, the cute shenanigans between the two, and man the blue girl is fucking amazing, she's so cute! I swear all the characters in these things are all so great, and yet you don't even see many of them on screen that much. There is also a scene sequence at the end where we see, the blonde girl, Chitose, I think, and we see her and the maids. We also see that the short-haired maid likes the long-haired- naive one. It's cute. Plot: Sooooo, The plot, the plot is obviously a slice of life one (I think, don't roast me), so there isn't too much other than their daily lives and husband-wife thingies (lmao), though there is a little bit of backstory and a little bit of spice with the wife. she is a... MOON GODDESSES. So yeah, here and there she spits out little bits of moon dus- nah I'm kidding, she does sometimes spit out about the past and talks in a manner that implies she was friends with historical figures- which she was most likely- and that is cool. Actually, it is one of the only things I'm disappointed about in this Anime, which is that we don't really get any world-building into that side of things, and Idk if I'm the only one who wants that but yeah. Characters: They are pretty great, the main two: Space Station there and his wifey, are both pretty great and very nervous with each other. The Blue Haired Sister of the girl whose parents are in charge of the bathhouse is fucking great, she has a cool character design, great expressions, and all-around just pretty great. Now the semi-antagonist at the start of the first season is pretty decent, obviously, she's not a bad person or anything and is no longer the antagonist in this, but she starts out kinda annoying and gets better gradually. OP AND MUSIC: TALKING ABOUT THE OP? OH YES, WE ARE! THE OP IS FUCKING GREAT, LIKE IT's JUST AWESOME, FUCKING EPIC, I REALLY LIKE THE ED ALSO FUCKING COOL.
Theme: Well the theme of this one is anxiety over being alone from your partner which I would say, is a pretty good representation of that, the constant amount of denial, that she misses him only for one day and etc. really great. ______ Anyways, if you're looking for cute scenarios between a husband and wife, with barely any cons, this is for you! (Obviously, watch the anime first) I actually prefer the OVA slightly over this. I heavily recommend this anime franchise and enjoyed it a lot! PLOT: 7.9/10 CHARACTERS: 9/10 OP: 9.9/10 MESSAGING/THEME: 10/10 _______ Here is some of my note-taking and reactions from this OVA, hope you enjoy them : ) notes while watching: bruh she just fucking shot up her phone at NASA or whatever his name is and it came out good , must be a fucking iphone or some shit. oh the girl finds the wife "cute" OO. bruh the wife is so fucking cute, like this is so wholesome BLUE GIRL IS SO FUCKING CUTEEEEEEEE AND NAIVE SHES HUMMING THE OPPPPPP, YESSSS STICKERS?? WE'RE MARRIED I WOULD NEVER!! I LOVE BLUE GIRL GOD I'M SO GONNA READ THE MANGA! NOT A SINGLE FUCKING STICKER FROM NASA-KUN!? the blue girl basically: HE'S PROBABLY JUST BUSY AT WORK OR... perhaps... most likely... BEING FORCED VIOLENTLY INTO A LABOR CAMP. the assumptions man the assumptions dude she really worried about her hubby in this "Tonikawa: The Night Alone" Bro dis dude is like "Till I Collapse" by Eminem OMG THE MARRIED COUPLE KISSED.
