DESCRIPTION
Sora was lying in front of a hospital. He was seriously injured, and when he was about to die, a nurse, Yagami Yu, helped him.
He was sent into an emergency ward, and he met a beautiful woman, Mikage Reika. She was a director of the hospital, and she asked him to become a test subject. Because he didn't have any relatives, he accepted it. Then, Yagami Yu was supposed to take care of him.
Since that day, his fate had changed a lot.

50/100A less realistic entry in the series, but with a better sense of humor than its predecessors.Continue on AniListNight Shift Nurses 3 (or Night Shift Nurses: Experiment) isn't quite as heavy in objectionable content as the first two were, so squeamish folk, rest easy... or, well, easier, anyway. Keep in mind that it's still a member of the Night Shift Nurses family, so exercise caution. This third installment (or fourth, if you count Kranke) differs from its predecessor in that no characters from prior entries make reappearances--this epoch takes place at a different time and place, with its own characters and world. What sets this apart from the other entries in the franchise, to me, is that this series has a much better sense of humor than the other, more deadpan-serious ones have.
Writing: Night Shift Nurses 2 was unrealistic in that the characters didn't act or react in the way that real people would, something which 3 thankfully avoids... however, 3 is still unrealistic in its own right. How's that? Well, it gets into X-Men mutation/gene manipulation territory. This definitely hurts the show when compared to the very well-written and relatively believable first entry in the series, but doesn't kill it completely. The series does have some continuity and a reasonable plot (revolving around an uncharacteristically attractive homeless man who signs on to become a human guinea pig in exchange for a lump sum), and they stick with it well enough. The only real pity is that it lacks any real resolution, and just kind of fizzles out in the end.
Art and Sound haven't improved or suffered since the previous installment. Neither could be called fantastic, but they suit the series well enough. Pretty standard production values across the board.
Again, the strongest point and saving grace for this series is its sense of humor. That's what really makes it stand out in the Night Shift Nurses series, which isn't known for being... comically inclined. 3 actually has a nice, rather sophisticated sense of humor, though, the likes of which you might see in Satoshi Kon's works like Paranoia Agent or Tokyo Godfathers. It even has a few funny instances that weren't even attempts at humor--for example, the ONLY really hardcore scene in this series is when a character pops in a video of the first Night Shift Nurses series. Meta.
Night Shift Nurses 3 maintains the relatively high production values (at least compared to other hentai) that the franchise as a whole has set, which is good for anyone who doesn't care about story, setting, or any other qualitative aspects in a hentai. For those of us who do, though, 3 still isn't such a bad choice. It's a very amusing addition to the Night Shift Nurses franchise that adds a spice of variety to the mix without being too overbearingly different from its predecessors. A reasonably fun watch for most anyone who enjoyed the previous entries, and readily able to be picked up by new viewers alike.
