48/100Could have been better, could have been worse. (minor spoilers)Continue on AniListI think that this anime is a tad bit overated. It's not exactly your absolutely-average isekai experience , but it's not far off from reaching that either. I'd also like to mention that this is my first ever review, and that english is not my main language, so if you see anything that's worded wrong, please let me know! WIth that said, let's review the most important parts of this anime
Story The story does not diverge much from the standard isekai formula. It starts with our protag dying, finding himself in a videogame world. The reason i gave this anime a shot is because the videogame the story is set in is an otome. However, i'd say the fact that it's an otome can be easily forgotten , because the main thing the story focuses on is action. Action with ugly robots(yes, an otome game with robots) that is. Anything that could actually be an interesting subplot in the story is instantly forsaken because our MC has an advanced ai serving him, but ofc noone ever thinks that something shady is going on. There is also a romantic subplot that was very much eh, and all the story arcs are very forgettable. The story wasn't the worst i've ever seen, but it was definitely very forgettable and unoriginal. 3.5/10
Characters Very much eh. I kind of liked the main character in the first few episodes, but not so much later on. He gaslights himself into believing ''Oh, but i'm just a side character! uwu'' while doing everything but. Would also appreciate if he behaved a bit more like an adult that he is (what is he with his both lives combined, like maybe 30?) instead of a hormonal 13year old. The second most important character is the Ai that accompanies our mc. Although as i said, he feels really out of place and removes any obstacle our mc encounters, he is pretty fun to watch. His snide remarks make the show a bit more enjoyable. The other characters are just plot devices that do not feel like credible characters at all, so i'm going to ingore them. 5.5/10
Animation Terrible. Not Ex-arm level terrible, but really bad for a show with so much action. The characters are also pretty meh for the most part. There are some things that redeem the animation in this anime though, like the mechs not being cgi animated. 3/10
Music & effects I actually enjoyed the ost quite a bit. It doesn't feel out of place as far as i can recall. The sound effect were pretty good too, although generic at times. The ed is a bit catchy too! 7/10
Final score : 48/100 As i said, it could have been better. It's not bad if you want to turn your brain off and watch the basic isekai story with some mechs, but otherwise i'd say you can skip this. At least it didn't annoy me with unnecessary ecchi. If you want to discuss this anime further, you're free to do so on my profile! Mcsuper
56/100A Shallow Story, With Some SmugnessContinue on AniListEh, Katsuragi Keima got you beat every day of the week at dating sims Leon… just saying.
Well, anyways, here’s your isekai about the protagonist tripping and falling down a set of stairs, only to be isekai’ed into the dating sim that he just beat, but this dating sim is a matriarchy, so he’s not overpowered at all, he’s actually a background character in a dating sim, except he has background knowledge of the game, so actually, he is overpowered after all. The show is pretty shallow overall, the politics, fights, and plot are all pretty mediocre, but the thing that stands out is the smugness of the protagonist (still not as smug as that Anya face though).
My grading criteria: Story: /25 Art: /10 Music: /10 Characters: /20 Enjoyment /15 Thematic Execution /20
STORY: 12.3/25
The plot isn’t much to write home about. I view this as a sort of revenge story of sorts, of a mob character that is maltreated, and then unleashes his power on the world, being a scumbag to everyone, while saving everyone.
There are some inconsistencies, and some things I wished the story expanded on. The matriarchy in my opinion didn’t play enough of a role, as it quickly became obsolete after Leon became a baron and moved up in the society. Another thing I wished the story talked about was Marie’s identity. It was hinted that Marie could be Leon’s sister in the real world, and I wish they expanded upon that fact to make for more plot points. It’s always a plus when the characters in the real world are mentioned in an isekai, but not a lot of isekai series do that, which is unfortunate.
ART: 4/10
In short, I don’t like the character designs. The other stuff is fine, the action scenes are fine, the general art direction is fine, it’s just the character design that looked awkward.
MUSIC: 8/10
Sound direction was fine, and the openings and endings were good enough musically. Nothing very impressive, but still solid.
CHARACTERS: 12.5/20
The characters are actually decent. There is a fair bit of character growth to be seen, especially with Olivia and Angelica, with the former struggling with being overprotected by Leon, and wanting to be independent, and the latter, looking upon lower class people with more respect than before after meeting Olivia.
Obviously, Leon is an enjoyable character to watch. He takes upon the villainous role himself, but when he defeats those cocky nobles, it’s always a fun and satisfying thing to see. Cheap thrills that work, basically, is his shining point. The self-doubt about his role as a mob character is a bit annoying at times considering how powerful he is, but he’s still a unique character.
ENJOYMENT: 9.5/15
Has some good points, and some shallow and frustrating points.
THEMATIC EXECUTION: 9.2/20
Personally, I don’t really like the sporadic themes throughout, and the theme of the school much either, the people in the school just give off such a negative connotation, it’s hard to describe. The romance is there, because of course it is, and the action is fine overall.
OVERALL: 55.5/100
It’s an alright show, I just wish the plot thickened a little, and the animation was a little better, the plot and some characters come off as a bit shallow and underdeveloped, and if there’s ever a season 2, I would hope the plot gets built upon in a better way.

78/100A fun watch with minor character problems and a few plot holes.Continue on AniListThis anime has both pros and cons. The storyline was really good, and the main character was refreshing, but there were a few annoying things about Olivia and Leon in addition to a plot hole regarding the Principality. In the end, it's still a good anime. When I rate an anime, I take five categories into consideration: sound/music, visuals, characters, story, and ending. The sound, visuals, opening, and ending are either good or really good in this anime. Leon is the main character of this anime and at first, he was refreshing over the normal bland Isekai protagonists. At first, he was no more than a mob character, but over the anime his power and influence greatly changes while his perception of himself doesn't. I don't have a problem with him perceiving himself this way if he had a lack of confidence, but throughout the whole anime he almost never has any moments without confidence. The only two times he doesn't display confidence is during his tea times and with the climax of the conflict between him and Olivia. For some reason, he is overly confident to the point of arrogance in every other matter which makes it unbelievable that he would perceive himself as a mob character. This bothers me a bit, but he's still enjoyable to watch when he's not calling himself a mob character.
Angelica is a well-written character. I don't blame her for failing to deal with Olivia properly. Olivia is an odd character because her lack of confidence and trust in her friends is believable, but annoying. It's only annoying because of the way Angelica and Leon fail to deal with her, and I believe this annoyance is good for the show and not a con.
I don't really like her voice, but that's an entirely subjective opinion and doesn't factor into my score. The princes are well-written as well, and they make a good rival for Leon even if they never will stand a chance against him. I don't know how to feel about Marie because she isn't fleshed out enough for this season. She'll probably get more attention in the next season, but I wish they had dealt with her more than Olivia.
I won't talk about the remaining side characters, but they are all static and either flat or round depending on their screen time. The story of this anime is really good for the most part. The first arc revolving around the prince's breakup with Angelica and the small biker bit with a different prince were both really well done. The thieves' arc wasn't the best due to the lack of reasoning for both Carla and Stephanie. Carla did it because she was ordered to, and Stephanie's reasoning was just because of pure evil. I don't accept pure evil as an excuse for actions to this degree. I accept her bullying of Olivia because it's a way to get to Angelica, who has more power than Stephanie causing her to become jealous. The last arc is the Principality's declaration of war. I'll give Leon the victory due to his overpowered equipment, surprise factor, and arrogance of the enemies, but I don't see why the Principality invaded in the first place. They touched on this briefly, but they didn't answer the question. Perhaps they acquired the monster controlling flute earlier than expected? Anyways, the story is still really entertaining.
The ending was pretty good. It didn't fix the principality plot hole or settle the mob character problem, but it did wrap everything else up. Despite all the cons, this show was definitely better than expected, and, although I'm just a mob reviewer with no importance, I want a season two.
