DESCRIPTION

Ian is seemingly the perfect student – kind, trustworthy, and handsome to boot, he became known as “the Angel of Christmas” thanks to an innocent act of kindness from when he was a child. So when Yugun returns to school after an extended sick leave, no one is surprised when Ian is there to help him get through the day. Thanks to Ian’s cherubic persona, Yugun thinks he can trust him - that is, until he overhears a conversation between the boy and his mother that reveals it was all a plan to maintain Ian’s image. Incensed at the betrayal, Yugun confronts Ian and threatens to reveal his true colors to everyone. However, Ian’s unexpected response confuses Yugun even more: “Go ahead. But whatever happens after is not my responsibility.” After all, who could hate the supposed “Angel of Christmas?” Will the two remain like oil and water? Or will they learn to blend together to create something more beautiful than either of them could have ever imagined?

i am literally obsessed with merry marbling and the ships are amazing
i've read a lot of pengki's works ~~(a lot being... this and robber x lover obviously~~) and i just decided to read this after seeing it on their page, but i am so so so glad i started reading it!!!! it's one my favorite (in fact, it IS my favorite) manhwas. all of their backstories are so interesting, and i look forward to when a new chapter comes out like a kid looks forward to christmas. i love all of the characters and the side characters are so well developed they feel like main characters. mirye x kyungbin is such an amazing side ship and i talk about them so often i've accidentally tricked my friends into thinking they are the main ship of this manhwa lmao... oops! but im going to be so sad when this manhwa ends because its been my everything since the moment i started reading it.

ian and yugun have such a GOOD progression of their relationship and their feelings for each other feel really natural. i think they're both really good for each other, not just as partners but also because it feels like they both care for each other and make each other better. i love all the confession scenes in this manhwa because they feel very dramatic but not so over the top i want to cringe lol. also, i like how it portrays each of the character's "journey" of falling for their s/o. it feels so unique to their character.

spoilers? that are just moments i really love in the manhwa/wishes
- i love yugun's "reverse confession" and i find it interesting how both him and his brother confess to their s/o. kyungbin confesses in such a "chill" way, like he stays so calm the entire time
- mirye's character makes my brain tingle!!!!!!!!! he always wants to be a pillar for the people around him to lean on, and although he tries to hide his emotions, he manages to show it through his actions. not just towards kyungbin, but also towards ian, because he tries to look out for him.
- namsaeng is such an amazing side character and i genuinely want him to be so so so so happy for the rest of his life.
- tbh if pengki made 1000000 spin-offs and sequels i wouldn't be mad and id eat them up like crazy. i hope that after the manhwa ends we get some extras that show them when they've grown up
- i am really looking forward to them telling their parents!! like, ian's mom is obviously kinda judgemental and already doesn't like yugun, so i bet it'll be difficult for her to accept that he's dating him. for yugun and kyungbin, i wonder which one of them will tell their parents first? and i wonder how their parents will take the fact that BOTH of their sons are dating guys?? for mirye, i feel like his sister will end up being the first one to find out, but i'm unsure of what her reaction will be?? will it be like "theres no way that's your bf. hes WAY too good looking for you!" or if she'll be weirded out that he likes guys? tbh i wonder if they'll be found out by ian's mom first since mirye is constantly over at the baek family's house lmao
