  The one thing that'll never break is our bond

  Ange Vierge is a great anime about friendship. I know that sounds very basic and bland but that's what the anime is about, it's self-growth through friendship and fighting the negative thoughts a close person might have for you.
  Now, as you can see at my score: that's certainly nothing bad to me, I just wanted to say what this show is about, but I'm not sure at what point it counts as a spoiler. But basically: we have 5 worlds, each with their respective designs and characters (nature I think, the earth, demons and magic, gods and angels, technology) and they work together to stop the Ouroboros (don't ask me what they are) from making those worlds collide.
  From episode 3 onward, every episode is like a small characters development for each member of the main cast, always fighting their senpais who have turned evil because of the Ouroboros, they also get their ass handed by them during practice in the first episode, was wild to watch and simultaneously having a deep talk about how there relationships are to 2 important characters and talking about how they feel and felt about them and how much they want to keep fighting for them.
  I liked the show a lot, was very motivating in many ways, I also found that the way they turned seemingly normal or good things in "bad friendship" and then turned it back to show that it was just a certain feeling (of appreciation or idolization or whatever it might be this time) that merely seemed shallow for reasons I won't get into.
  The fighting was very fun because the powers aren't too complicated to need a large explanation but are still creative enough to make for some great fights. Also, Mikage-senpai had one of the coldest appearances I've seen in a long time.
  That being said, there are a few points that you might want to be warned about:

  1. The story and world-building aren't that deep, this is still a 12 episode show. If you hope to get a deep dive into the cultures of each world, how they were affected by the meetings of the other worlds or anything else: you won't get it. I still don't know what "You're only so strong because of your genes" was supposed to mean, because the person's family wasn't mentioned until then. It's definitely not as fleshed out as I would have liked it to be but I don't think that it was necessary since they didn't seem to hope for a longer anime or a second season to come out.
  2. They spend most of their non-fighting time naked so you get a beam of light onto your screen for half the episode. It's kinda annoying, because they could've done literally everything else that wouldn't require flashing my eyes away all the time. I don't have a problem with them being naked, I have a problem with them being naked every second they don't fight or show a flashback. It's kinda lazy, in my opinion, because you don't show so much that I get "bodily interested" in the scenes and yet you have literally no idea what they like to do together outside of sitting in the pool or bath together.
     I also think that at least 1 of them should've been a magical girl, but that's just me.

  So, in retrospect: I loved the show, I will remember it for a long time, I will think about some of the phrases for a long time and if what I said sounded interesting, feel free to check it out. Thanks for reading and have fun.
