DESCRIPTION
In a different world than the one we live in, a world where Japan is the lone superpower of the world, there is a wildly popular game show called the National Quiz. Every night, people dreaming of riches, fame, vengeance and happiness compete on the show, for the chance to be granted a wish, any wish they have: the National Quiz has the power to make your wildest dreams come true. It also has the ability, if you lose, to make your life a living hell.
This is the story of K-i K-ichi (aka prisoner KK47331), a former actor-turned losing National Quiz contestant-turned wildly popular host of the show, and the people and events surrounding him.

95/100Welcome to the National Quiz, the game where every wish can be granted !Continue on AniList__Imagine a TV game show where any wish of a winner can be fulfilled, even the wildest, most surreal ones. This TV game show exists, it's...__
Synopsis The story is about K-I K-Ichi, the host of the National Quiz, the game where you can win anything you want. We are immediately thrown into the game as a spectator, as if we were watching it on TV. As the game progresses, we realize that the game's set is grandiose and even surreal. We see all kinds of things and we wonder if there is a limit (there isn't, it's the National Quiz, there will never be a limit), and we'll find out soon enough as we watch a whole episode and what we're watching isn't a special episode, it's really like that every day! So in this manga, we will discover the game's progress, the backstage, the consequences in Japan and internationally.
Characters The National Quiz has its share of characters who each have their role to play, but all of them will have a direct link with K-I K-Ichi, the host who is seen as the driving force behind the National Quiz. Whether on the side of the spectators or the production team, we will discover the relationships each person has with K-I K-Ichi as we move along. As we advance, we will learn the truth about certain points that may seem obscure during the first episode we watch, and I find it great that we don't have everything at once, it would be really complicated to follow given the amount of information we receive in the first chapters. The fact that the motivations and past of the different characters are not immediately revealed accentuates this sense of mystery at the beginning of the manga.
Art The National Quiz has a style that may appear simple on the surface, but the amount of details in some panels, especially when watching the game, can be impressive. The manga is really easy to understand in its drawing, the character designs are very varied, it is difficult to get lost reading this manga, despite its complexity at times.
__Conclusion__ In my opinion, National Quiz is a manga to discover if you want to step out of your comfort zone in terms of plot. The plot is very good, everything is well brought, well paced, well staged with characters who are all influenced by a game... a game where the winner can win whatever he wants.
