The hentai’s protagonists are Iris Rebel, the human commanding officer of these armoured knights and her lifelong friend, the elven lieutenant, Mei Li Naceri. The duo finds themselves in a trap set by enemy forces and have their mechs shot down. Once she is escorted to Bozuk’s palace, she is once again forced to perform involuntary and demeaning sex acts for the pleasure of her captor. It is after these events that she encounters an elf servant of Bozuk named Riruru, who bears a striking resemblance to her friend Mei Li. Over the next three episodes, Iris is abused and assaulted by Riruru and a menagerie of human and non-human characters. These encounters occur in groups or more intimate one-on-one settings, with Riruru occasionally participating in the debauchery. Iris attempts to convince Riruru that she is, in fact, her friend Mei Li, but it initially proves ineffective. However, Riruru develops feelings for Iris and grows to resent her being forced to pleasure others. As a result, she hands her an armoured knight survival kit, temporarily suppresses the palace’s security system and distracts Lord Bozuk. This allows Iris to signal the rest of her team, disarm Bozuk and save Riruru/Mei Li. The plot was very compelling and engaging compared to most hentai I’ve seen so far. As a fan of newer hentai, with smooth designs, fluid movements and dynamic lighting, I thought I would struggle to get through Soukou Kijo Iris, but I was wrong. The largely CGI opening of our characters landing on the planet and the ensuing battle was well done and didn’t feel out of place in your typical mech/sci-fi anime. The rest of the animation was quite good, as well. Iris’s hair movements were especially well done, and although the overall animation was slightly choppy, it wasn’t a big enough issue to out of the experience. To summarize, I felt the animation was a little dated compared to more recent shows. I really enjoyed the style of this hentai; the subdued colours and shadows were nice to look at without being an eyesore. Some of the newer hentai I watched could take notes from Soukou Kijo Iris, as too many shows go wild on bright, poppy colours that are just over the top for me. How can I describe the impact this 5ft 8 bombshell had on my psyche growing up? Her body is out of this world, with a slender yet defined frame, a stunning pair of tits and an ass I’d gladly bombard from orbit. A killer bod is not all this maiden of war has going for her, however. My eyes were constantly drawn to her face, her dark purple eyes, her distinct hair design and her sharp facial features. Coming from a guy who generally prefers his waifus with a little more meat on them and softer features, I consider that a massive achievement. It’s just a shame that her eyes are shut half the time during the sex scenes, hiding some of her best features and expressions. Since she’s being raped throughout the whole hentai, her expressions are mainly those of pain and resistance, which isn’t inherently a bad thing in context. However, I would have loved more scenes where that look of resistance slowly fades away into one of uncontrollable lust. I thankfully did get one such scene in the final episode, which was by far one of my favourite parts of the whole show. Iris’s design is absolutely gorgeous, and nearly every complaint I have with Soukou Kijo Iris revolves around that design not being utilized enough. My fascination with Iris’s design shows what Pixy Soft is truly capable of, and their excellent character designs might even motivate me to watch more of their shows someday. Besides being the most radiant star in the hentai, she has a relatively strong personality. For a four-episode hentai, I got a surprising amount of character from Iris. She’s a calm and capable commander who feels her military operations are just and righteous. This attitude and sense of moral duty seem to be a guiding principle for Iris, as it manifests in her every action. She is doggedly determined and manages to endure near-constant rape and public humiliation without ever wavering. Despite the horrors Riruru/Mei Li put her through, Iris still felt she needed saving despite Riruru/Mei Li’s protestations. These actions showcase just how compassionate and strong-willed she really is. This compassion may have even extended to her captor, Bozuk, as well. Although she stabbed his wrist to disarm him, he cries and begs for mercy, while Iris seemingly agrees to his request, with the hentai never showing her harming him further. I honestly didn’t think I’d go away with such a solid and favourable impression of her, but I was very pleasantly surprised. Iris Rebel is not only gorgeous, she’s an incredibly strong and perseverant woman who turned a nightmare scenario into another successful mission. Her design is on point, with a petite, nymphlike body with a healthy amount of meat. Although her body is very appealing, it’s not really my taste, but I know many other people will certainly enjoy looking at it. I absolutely love the design of her face, with her large, deep blue eyes, cute elf ears, and adorable face. These features are perfectly accentuated by her silvery blue hair, with bangs and a twin-tailed design that brings out her captivating eyes and gleeful smile. Her amnesia and Riruru persona were also really fun to watch, especially during the sex scenes. In a show with back-to-back rape scenes, it was good to watch someone actually enjoying herself. Riruru’s participation in several scenes was a welcome addition to the otherwise degrading sex Iris had to endure rather than experience. Mei Li/Riruru was a ray of sunshine in a dark pit of despair and degradation, and rewatching her antics gave me a new-found appreciation for her character. Although her personality isn’t as defined as Iris’s, Mei Li is still a woman of conviction and conscience. While under amnesia, part of her psyche seems to understand she isn’t Riruru, with a bit of prompting from Iris being all that’s needed to make her question her assumed identity. Mei Li/Riruru’s jealousy and quick thinking were also instrumental in her and Iris’s eventual rescue. She also convinced Bozuk to let his guard down, a testament to her ingenuity and carnal skills. Although not as evident or inspiring, Mei Li’s personality was present throughout Soukou Kijo Iris. I honestly found it very appropriate and funny upon rewatching, so I shall illustrate several examples I spotted that may have come from George Lucas’s magnum opus. I really enjoyed these references, and many of these potential similarities were based on my observations, so I’m probably wrong about half of them. Still, I had fun, and hope it gives you something to think about. ##__𝘼𝙡𝙞𝙚𝙣 𝘿𝙚𝙨𝙞𝙜𝙣𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘼𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙨 :__ Iris’s alien captors bear a striking resemblance to Jawas. Iris recovers from her injuries in a device reminiscent of a bacta tank. Several crowd members at Million’s slave auction share appearances with various alien species in the Star Wars universe. Crime Lord Bozuk closely resembles a Hutt. ##__𝙏𝙝𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙨 :__ The Special Armored Company #101, under the Free Planet Alliance, fighting against an evil empire brings to mind the conflict between the Rebel Alliance and the Galactic Empire of the Original Trilogy. Societies in both Soukou Kijo Iris and Star Wars use Credits as a currency. Bozuk’s position as a crime lord with a palace and human slaves is reminiscent of Jabba and his Palace on Tatooine. Iris’s personality and situation (a strong-willed ‘rebel’ commander at the mercy of a cruel and lustful alien) remind me of Princess Leia’s predicament at the beginning of Return of the Jedi. #[__𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙘𝙡𝙪𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣 :__](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w4wZv4iTcdg) All in all, I loved this hentai back then, and I love it even more now. I had a few issues with the way Iris was utilized, and the animation wasn’t as smooth as I’d liked, but that is a small price to pay for this glorious gift given to us by Pixy Soft. I highly recommend Soukou Kijo Iris to those with strong wills, who like compelling plots and characters.
