Slice-of-life, detective mystery and a lot more... with breathtaking art

Kei, the protagonist of this angelic story

is a half-Japanese boy with long legs and aesthetic appeal, his parents have died in an accident so he lives in iceland with his cool grandfather. 
There's lots of things about this guy, he's a detective but not the type who usually comes to mind, his cases are more related to heart. but what's interesting about this guy is his ability to speak to his car...
What a weird ability to have! it's one of those type of powers that you wish you never had, like "Oh god, couldn't you at least give me sth better ?" BUT these words never crossed Kei's head, he actually made good use of his talent in ways that keept everything incredibly appealing, this is one of the reasons why this manga is so different and unique, it's one of those uncommon gems you might not across easily, and well kei, even tho he talks to cars, in the same way he can't speak to women, he has no idea how to talk to Lilja the pretty girl whom he fell for at first sight and happened to see in worst possible ways over and over again.
Everything's sunshine and rainbow ?! but the story suddenly changes its tone to a really serious one after kei is unable to contact with his little brother who lives with his uncle and aunt back in Japan and at the time he returns to japan, he caries a heavy amount of emotions and possibilities innermos self, he's shocked by a reveal that changes everything and brings lots of deep mysterys to the story afterwards... 

</center> __Main review__~~~ 
This manga has lots of mystery to the story but it has a super relaxed tone and chill atmosphere, to the point that it feels like a comfortable slice-of-life with slow pacing that suits the whole concept and vibe of the story and art so well, the main concept moves forward in no hurry through the daily life of the protagonist, it's best part is how smoothly it Switches between detective mystery and slice of life, each side of the story blends in one another, they both are designed to fit in the same tone, and work as a team like how hand works alongside the sword and Saya covers katana's sori.
There's Several enigmatic elements throughout the story and each has it's own depth and meaning to it, each has their own specific direction filled with characters emotions and their personal point of view under different situations that they go through, that outlook offers a solid ideas of what happened?! What's going on?! what's going to happen?! 

We got quite a few characters but
they all are well written and they've been brilliantly crafted, kei and Lilja were slowly developed throughout the first 5 volumes, they seem to get heavily involved with eachother in near future (outside their relationship) since we got lots of hints around Lilja's special ability although it's still unknown, his gramps has a great stylish tone to him, he shares so many similarities with kei and acts responsible, he's the one that you can look to for inspiration and guidance (and that's exactly what kei did from his childhood)
And the little brother... Goddammitt! this little punk is scary, there's sth about the way Irie draw him, his eyes are so deceiving, she def knows how to use body language perfectly, their facial expressions are way too realistic.
Michitaka is that confusing character who makes you question yourself, he turns your opinion and view into untrustable thoughts.
<span class='markdown_spoiler'><span>His definition of living, his bound to his big brother, his lack of regret and self-love at the same time is so strange, he clearly thinks he's better of dead but he keeps on living for some reason...  maybe he wants to find salvation? Maybe it's just about his brother the one who he never treated badly, or maybe he's just a kid with serious anger issues who has no idea how things came this far and turned this way?! If you pay attention, you can clearly see some trace of hope shades around his existence.
Anyways... he's one of the most interesting 
Cr I've ever seen, hope we discover more about his shape of mind in future.

And Freyja, well we don't know alot about this character, although we recognize one thing really well and that's FEAR... the type of fear that keeps you safe! she experienced it in her mind, her survival response...
Made it difficult for her to think clearly and make good decisions but unlike <span class='markdown_spoiler'><span>Michitaka</span></span> victims his fear protected her, was it enough tho? The clear thing is "running away from your problems, just keeps you away from solving them, it takes you farther and farther till the gap created between you two is unfixable" but how are you supposed to deal with sth that goes beyond your understanding? The realism in her actions as a human is top notch.

The art is also so wonderful, the faces are dimensional and they fit well in the background
Its just eye comforter, it's indeed mind blowing but the art-style is not striking and flashy, Irie is one of the few talented artists who actually puts good stuff out, this is one of the best drawn manga's ive ever seen, it's like she brings the readers to her travels around iceland, the way she took all these different elements and put them together covered by the same atmosphere under a single roof is so pleasant, it makes you feel
relaxed, stare at the landscapes and feel the windblow on your skin, makes you smell the air, touch the land with every step they take and count every cloud that passes by, it makes you want to travel to iceland after every chapter...

In short
this manga offers more than one would ask for, this is an ethereal manga that you would love even if you are not interested in it's genre, the author manages well to keep you under her spell, it's all black magic..
twisted story, humor,geology and cultural lessons, adventure, mystery, murder crimes, family drama and confusing romance built-up, they all feed one another...
pretty sure this 5 volumes are the beginning of sth huge, sth tragic and dark
