DESCRIPTION

DON'T READ THIS MANGA This Manga had a good premise but wasted it. With dumb plotstwists and dumb characters.
This Entire review will be a spoiler , because this Manga is not worth reading.

SPOILERS!

The Actual good start

Okay so it starts with a "boy" working at a ramen shop, he's kicked out because , quote " This is a place for men and with your looks you only bring women here.

Then he goes into a (butler?) cafe and he injures himself, some blood comes out, and one of the worker there licks it. And calls it disgusting.

Apparently in this world blood only tastes sweet if you were/are loved enough.

The boy then goes onto a roof and jumps (?) Or rather falls down.

But don't worry the vampire dude from the cafe saves him.

For saving him , he now want to feed on him.
Because he doesn't want to feed on women.

And then , it turns out that the MC is a cross dressing girl.

Okay Phase

She just continues to cross dress and the Male Lead Ruka feed of her.
Then she has to work at the butler cafe , and is introduced to the other workers.

She gets a littler jealous because he talks to women in a way she doesn't like. (It's his job???)

She almost gets crushed by pans , but Vampire ML saves her.

Then it's revealed why he doesn't want to feed of women.

It's because he's an otaku.
....wow

Then we get introduced to the second ML, who after a while wants to protect the FL.

She has a conversation with him , and the Vampire ML actually stalks them and gets a little bit jealous.

The Cringe/Boring Phase

They go camping, a few "ecchi" moments happen to the FL (who is naturally still cross dressing).

More Feeding of her.

Then he tells her , that he has to meet his "fated partner".

She laughs at him, and then gets scared because of a moth (ironic).

They almost kiss, and ML sees it. (Wow)

And she almost blew her cover. (FANTASTIC)

Vampire ML isn't allowed to fall in love with anyone but his fated one.

She dresses as a girl, and gets friend zoned by the Vampire ML.

And her blood still tastes bad.

What Phase

The ML exposes himself as a Dhampir (Half Human and Half Vampire.)

Let's just skip the whole she sleeps in the Dhampire ML bed etc.

Also the cute boy , has a crush on his friend who only likes women apparently.

WHAT THE F- PHASE

Okay so the Vampire and Dhampire MLs have a crush on the FL. Then things happen.

She is the fated one for the Vampire ML.

But The Dhampire family can't let him marry her, because they don't want him as the new vampire king.

So they make a copy of the FL and trick the Vampire ML.

Then really weird things happen .

The Dhampire ML , makes the FL body male. So the Vampire ML can't steal her from him, he ereases her memory etc.

Then there is a hyptnotic war , idk.
The gay boy gets a girl body to impress his friend.
(Whaaaaat???)

And then there is a new guy who also wants the FL.

STRONG START, Becomes Wtf.
First time I was actually annoyed enough to write a review...

It starts off with a GREAT concept, it could have gone so far! The art style is amazing and the genderbending is -chefkiss- or at least was.

It becomes:
- Bullet Train Romance Building (There is no building, romance is just THERE)
- Female MC smiles? Everyone loves her.
- Incredibly shallow, empty words & actions.
- Forced themes to show how likeable the female MC is
- Forced drama plots that are incredibly empty and predictable
- Forgets its themes along the way
- Constantly exposing her gender when its meant to be secret.
- BADASS PROGENITOR VAMPIRE? Weak, does nothing.
- Strong choices of "baddies" but never used.
- Incredibly shallow and empty "Big Bad."
- Characters changing sides like it's damn dirty underwear.
- Oh, everyone wants to make FMC their bride.
It had its flaws from the first chapter, being slightly cringe and having odd themes at play (more like "Uh ok.."), with unexplainable events like "Random hot guy walks up and sucks on your bleeding finger" oh woops, that was meant to be a secret, guess I'll just make you my food now. But I can overlook the cringe as I still have a young maiden's heart, but what I couldn't overlook was the amount of moments I had to reread things because I thought I was skipping chapters or read things wrong due to how the pacing just skyrockets.

Don't get me started on the "big battle" scene, or the build-up if you will. SPOILER HERE How The DUCK did FMC go from emotionally rejecting MMC's Twin bro on every level and fighting for her love for MMC, to then being shown "hidden memories" from said twin and all of a sudden HATING MMC and even drawing a sword against him, and then letting MMC's twin bro embrace her? (Excuse me, didn't you just fight him off, and you don't know him from a bar of soap?) Only to then a few pages later, find out the hidden truth to that memory and now she is madly in love with MMC all over again after nearly sticking a sword through his damn neck????! And uh...yeah The Progenitor just casually having FMC's parent's on ice and MMC reviving them only for them to instantly recognize their 16/17 year old daughter and aren't surprised at all where they are, who they are with and what the heck is going on and the fact their daughter just got married seconds ago- This whole scene felt like a metaphorical acid trip.

I LOVE romances, I love reading, and I loved the start of this...but somewhere along the line it went from page turner to me scowling and wondering "Wtf did I just read?" Should I have stopped? Yes, but I always finish what I started, and somehow...This manga made me angry by wasting such an amazing concept and saying "F**** it, let's rush it." As for the latest 2 chapters as of writing this, my brain must have blurred the transition because I am now thoroughly lost as to why MORE hot, new men have been added, and why she is winning them over by just smiling. Welp, at least the thirsty peeps who care little for story will enjoy a random hot wolf king, who is likely going to be the next romance interest of an already taken woman.
