  Great Show with Great Characters

  This show is phenomenal truly blessed throughout. We meet two of the best-written character I've ever seen. This show introduces us to the iconic duo of bass and lime. The adventure starts with a suspenseful fight scene between what is presumed to be evil and good. We bass the strong but dum one of the group though he wins the fight he drops the six chaos emeralds down to earth. We now spend the 11min as Lime nags to Bass on how he messed up. After some witty banter between the duo, we meet the first monster a candle. He was locked in a closet since the Edo period and now wants to get revenge on humans that abandoned him. He achieves this cumming on buildings and people with his wax to turn of electricity and freeze people. As lime is looking for Candle we see Candle save a cat from getting hit by a car. Lime notices the behavior and realizes the maybe that there is more to the candle. Lime struggles with the idea of killing him as even though he has probably killed hundreds of people by turning off the electricity in the city, he did save one cat. So is candle a good guy? No, we know revenge isn't the answer. After an intense back and forth fight between the duo and candle bass comes up with a genius plan. Lime dressed in Edo period clothing temps the candle to a better life by asking for light by a candle. The candle swayed by the thought of such beautiful women such lime wanting a candle to light her path at night. Bass out nowhere comes in the light the candle in flames sending him to his doom. The fight of the centuries was finished. The camera pans as Lime and bass know they have one the day, but at what cost. I love Lime she is the best as she really represents the spirit of this show. Through all the plot necessary fan-service we being to learn about lime as a person as she grows, she learns how to accept people and also how not to let people control her. Later we see her make friends with a fellow school girl and they become good friends. We can't forget of both cute and sexy lime is as the animators carefully animated each frame of this gorgeous babe. Lime is also seen as level-headed always acting as the grounded one of the duo. Bass is hilarious always chasing after women even though he has no chance with them. This is also sad as we know no matter how hard he tries we know that he'll never be an acceptable person. As the show progress get to see many great moments like when Lime willingly accepts being groped by a sentient coin purse so that the purse can achieve Nirvana and become an emerald. Another great moment is when a muscular nurse aggressively practice inserting needles into Lime's butt.

  Overall Great show with a lot of heart!!

  Jewel BEM hunter Lime - the only anime you need.

  The show starts off with magical spheres called BEM's getting lost in the human world. Lime and Bass, the two magical demons, have to "hunt" down all the magic spheres. The spheres absorb the anger and sadness of the human world and develop into cute little monsters. These monster cause a lot of trouble in the human world. It is up to bass and lime to fix their mistake.

  Bass is the fighter of the duo, he often messes up and gets into many accidents. He tends to be very airheaded and downright stupid. His character development consists of him getting hornier, He gropes all woman on site and will stop at nothing to get a good "feel" in.

  Lime on the other hand is useless, she does nothing the entire show. All she is there for is fanservice. Lime criticizes Bass a lot for basically everything he does. She will tell Bass that its all his fault and that he is stupid, but then does nothing to try to help / solve the problem at hand. She is able to transform into different costumes and forms. She uses this so that the animators can milk even more fanservice from her.

  The show involves the two characters arguing and bickering a lot, this leads to a lot of banter between the two character. Bass tends to grope / sexualize Lime many times during the show, Lime then responds with some sort of violent actions against Bass.

  The BEM's take over the show a lot during the episodes (episode two especially). They do have a certain charm to them, but that quickly fades as the episodes progress. It's very frustrating and annoying to have to watch the main characters deal with these monsters.

  The more you watch the more frustrating and weird it gets. The first episode is okay and acts as a good hook to the show, (involving a sentient candle who goes around turning off the power and turning people into wax), but episode two quickly ruins that. Episode two seems to only exist for the fanservice. (sentient coin purse trying to gain enlightenment) It involves many shirtless school girls, bras, and groping. Episode 3 keeps the downward spiral going with some very weird sexual undertones and confusing plot lines. (Buff nurse and a needle filled with anger sauce).

  I believe that they originally planned to make one episode or so for each of the magic spheres - planning to have around ten or so, however the show was cut short for whatever reason, leaving us with three episodes. If the show consisted of more than the three episodes we have, I believe it would have been very repetitive. I don't think I could have watched any more than the three.

  Overall the show is pretty bad. I would not recommend watching unless your a masochist. This show is filled with chaos, frustration, and non-sensical plot points. 10 / 10
