85/100The Brilliance of Takagi-San Shines Once MoreContinue on AniListSequels are driven by nostalgia, and sometimes that sense of nostalgia diminishes as more seasons of a show come out, and it gets boring. Thankfully, the third season of Takagi-San uses all its nostalgia and themes from its first two seasons, and builds upon them effectively. The quality was as good and consistent as the first two seasons, and the characters are starting to get a bit more development.
Now, if I may not be so formal for a second, let me just say that AHHH THIS IS SO SWEET! Ok, and there was my scream about how pleasant this show is. Alright, let's get on with the review.
My episodic grading scale:
Story: /10 Art: /10 Music: /10 Characters: /25 Enjoyment: /15 Thematic Execution: /30
STORY: 6.9/10
Much like previous seasons, this show is very episodic, filled with various skits that build up to a conclusion. I will admit that the earlier portion of the show was a bit of a drag, but the latter portion of the show was great! The narrative more or less stays the same, and the endgame is obvious, and many plot points are predictable, as I predicted two big scenes to happen as soon as I saw what they were trying to do. It's pleasant for sure.
ART: 9/10
I enjoy the simple, yet beautiful art style. The composition of shots is good, and direction overall was well executed.
MUSIC: 8.4/10
Probably my least favourite set of openings and endings, but that's not to say they don't fit the direction of the story.
CHARACTERS: 21.5/25
Pure sweetness! I noticed quickly that in this season, Takagi says way more bold things to Nishikata, and that's a sign of development. Nishikata, while still incredibly dense, at least figures some things out, and he got more exciting to watch as the narrative went along, and sometimes got me all up in my emotions (yes I cried by the way). A common gripe I'm sure some of you have is the side characters. That continues to be my complaint as well, but I think they handled the side characters well and used them more effectively than before, which is a step in the right direction.
ENJOYMENT: 14.2/15
Probably the show I enjoyed the most out of everything this season, it's just very wholesome and gets you emotional sometimes.
THEMATIC EXECUTION: 24.5/30
The romance theme here was flushed out very effectively, and it made the story all the more enjoyable. The comedy isn't that great, but it functions well enough. Overall, a definite improvement in emphasizing the thematic elements of the show than any of the first two seasons.
OVERALL: 84.5/100
This was fun to watch, no doubt about it. Story slowed down in the first half, but the latter half made it all worth it. The ending to each season always knocks it out of the park, and for this season, there was no exception. The movie is coming soon, and you bet I'll be ready for that when the time comes!

100/100I hope we can stay this way foreverContinue on AniListCute, Sweet, and Charming.
Those are the words I can describe for the whole series of Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san. From funny and cute schemes to the sweet and charming romance of the story. Watching their story makes me remember how beautiful and romantic my middle school days were. In other words, nostalgic.
Now, these large-fore-headed couples made another comeback for the third season of Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san. When the third season was announced, I couldn’t believe it and felt a huge excitement. I never expected this show would get another season, after 3 years of waiting. Knowing they will deliver again, another sweet romance for their hardcore fans, including me. And that never fails to amaze me. This will be my anime of the season.
Story:
The story took place after the events of season 2. It’s a usual day for Nishikata, as he still has not found a way to beat his nemesis, Takagi-san. But the story shifted its tone. From the first season of episodic teases of Takagi to the point when the gap between them, gradually became closer than ever. This season became a serious lighthearted romance and showed some schemes that had never been seen before. The story is kind to its viewers and the romance portrayal from enemies to close friends was very sweet. Every single moment of the show, especially the couple makes you giggle, entertain, and even smile. From the first season until the latest, the story and romance factors are still incredibly consistent. Some story parts were moving to its development, and some easter eggs were shown. Like in Moto Takagi-san's story, which was unexpected. Even you might say the story is still the same, you will get hooked over and over again I believe their story wouldn’t be the same as before. Because I can feel it they will reach their happily ever after.
Animation:
The animation of the show evolved this season. I remember the first season’s animation was plain good. But the animation quality this season is fire. Shin-Ei animation studio's production style kept up with the animation style of other famous studios like Cloverworks and KyoAni. Especially the art sequence of the OP and ED. I noticed their foreheads became shinier than before. The art in every scene was superb and pretty handled well. I don’t have to say that much when it comes to art but I loved it.
Music:
This is one of the factors I love about this series. The music is heartwarming. The cool thing about its music is it used every OP of the show and made some variations for the soundtrack. I remember when Eufonious made many variations of True Tears’ OP in that show, and Sakurasou’s Days of Dash had a piano variation. Even in Clannad, I’d got to hear it. Many romance animes used that kind of skill in their soundtracks. We got to hear the cute variation of Iwanai no Kedo ne and Zero Centimeters from the previous seasons. But in this season, we heard Massugu variation, but this time, the singer hummed it. It’s so sweet and very suitable for every scene in the show. The OP is still amazing, but I prefer Zero Centimeters more. Even I didn't like the EDs that much, it's still pretty good.
Characters:
What can I say about the characters? The main couple, Nishikata and Takagi were very written well. I remember when Nishikata hated Takagi because of her teasing moments. But his feelings bloomed because of his moments spend with Takagi. The two of them became true to their feelings for each other but the moments of their challenges to each other remain. Even I saw in Moto Takagi-san, they are still challenging each other. The other side characters were funny too, especially the side couples. The boys and the girls were funny as well. The development of Nishikata and Takagi is the one I wanted from this show. And that’s so charming.
Overall:
I like this show, and it easily beats my top 10 favorite romance. This kind of romance story deserves to be recognized, loved, and appreciated by many audiences, especially romance fans. This kind of anime is the one you needed for if you want a solid romance with many cute gag scenes. I enjoyed it watching with my friends, siblings, and even my loved ones. I can’t imagine myself if I reach the conclusion of the series and I can wait to see the movie someday. All in all, this anime will be in my romance favorites and I’m glad to recommend this to everyone. This will be worth your time and will make you entertain to your heart's content.

79/100One of the best Innocent RomComsContinue on AniListhttps://anilist.co/anime/138424/Teasing-Master-Takagisan-Season-3/
Way before my adolescence was about kick me in the depths of horny thoughts and "unable to speak with girls" phase, I used to be an innocent child. An innocent child with a happy family of 4, in a rented house with kids of my age living around my neighborhood, it was a happy time and I was very content with it. I thought, I wouldn't need anything more than this. But on one monsoon day, when we're back to school after our happy summer holidays, old & new students getting into our promoted classes, while me & my friends were talking about all the fun stuff we did in our summer break, I...saw a girl and for the first time the word "Love" popped in my head (or Heart, whatever. I was unsure). At that time, I used to believe that "Love" means the most adult thing I can ever experience and never even gave a thought about it. So, I said to myself, "Nah.. I'm not old enough for that" (The child version of "I don't have the balls"). But after watching this show, I thought that maybe...maybe... I might've missed a wonderful phase in my life.
"Teasing Master Takagi-san" is about two middle schoolers named Takagi & Nishikatha (there's more but we'll get to that later). It contains of small stories of Nishikatha trying to win over Takagi with his small challenges & games but ends up getting the one teased by her.
If there's one thing the show does unlike many other Anime ever did, is keeping it pure & innocent. You can easily tell that if you've watched upto this season, but each season is well rounded & varied in it's focus. Season 1 is more of a setup, Season 2 is more about the characters while Season 3 is more about the relationships. In this season, we not only got to see the main leads but also some side characters making some progress like, Hojo & Hamaguchi who are what Nishikatha & Takagi in previous season while Mano & Nakai are still at the top of the billboard in the game.
The biggest strength this Anime has is definitely, the voice acting. All seiyuus did an excellent job in bringing this childish story to life but I particularly like two VAs in this show. Yuuki Kaji as "Nishikatha" and Konomi Kohara as "Mina". Yuuki Kaji did Nishikatha's overly confident & dumb expressions so well, that I almost forgot that he's about to commit a genocide in an another world. His high pitched over exaggerations when his overconfidence brings him failure, to his low pitched soft monologues in his awkward & confused moments is a big charm and driving force to this show. This might be an unpopular opinion but I really like Mina in this show. She's optimistic and very lively but very absent-minded & sometimes even dumb, but that's her charm. Due to her low screentime (& not being the main focus of the show), she mostly doesn't get much spotlight to shine.I really wouldn't mind giving this an 8/10 or even a 9/10 score, after seeing how much it improved but the only thing that's stopping me from doing so is... "Takagi". Now this isn't meant to say I don't like her or anything. It's just that...she predicts everything a little too perfectly. I'm not saying she's destroys the fun either, it's the total opposite. It's just that when she predicts Nishikatha's thoughts, she predicts it so perfectly that she doesn't even spell a single word wrong or out of the place and I find it a little.....unreal. This is actually how her character is for the entire story. This isn't meant to demerit this show, it has the all the right to be praised, I just thought it can be done better than that, but it didn't bothered too much because of Rie Takahashi's lovely voice acting.
Out of all middle schooler romcoms I've seen, "Teasing Master Takagi-san", with this season, stands top on the board, both in terms of quality and entertainment with it's lovely cast.
